"What the hell!?" she reached up to jab one in the face with electrified claws in an attempt to deter it. "Alright, attacking is cool now!"

Kwanita stared in awe at the giant underground castle. How did it even fit here?? She didn't have much time to gawk, Masaki was already wandering towards the bridge..

Meanwhile, Blitz had arrived back at the base... she quickly entered the hangar and squawked noisily, hoping to attract some attention. The care crews noticed and ran to get Omegan.

"Whats going on- Blitz?? Where's Vurai?" The bird made many comical gestures, depicting the angel and the chimeras', all the while chirping as if hoping to get her point across.

"Alright... from what I can tell we have a problem, right?" Blitz nodded her head vigorously. At this Omegan turned tail and dashed to the phone near the door.

"This is not a drill. We have some unidentified creatures on the loose in Sector U of the city. All higher ups report to the hangar for briefing. Anyone else, get to your positions. This may or may not be an attack against base. I repeat, this is not a drill."

"As I said, we have a few unidentified creatures in Sector H, near the old train station. I can't get much from her,-" Omegan flicked her muzzle to point out Blitz. "-as there is the language barrier, but we're dealing with something bipedal, large, with wings, and some medium-small quadups. Get to your mounts, we leave in 2 minutes."

The small group moved outside, except for Dras, who stuck behind. "Omeg? Do you think we should run a test on-" She immediately snapped to attention, and stared distantly at him.

"... yes. This might just be dire enough... is she ready?"

Dras' eyes shone. "Of course."

Vurai tried to make sense of his garbled words through her rising fear. "Electrocute...? Alright... trust me." without hesitating, she drove her claws into one of his wounds and unloaded as many volts as she could into his body. Her back twitched furiously as it attempted to keep her static levels stable.

(^Because she generates her own electricity with her muscles/fur. Its like an Electrike I think. Her muscles twitch to rub her fur together, and the fur produces static.

"Aridus... Ari." She rolled him over with her nose. "Ari come on." She flicked her ears at a sound similar to a small airplane, and a pink energy arrow shot past. No sooner than that did Omegan and her crew land in the area.
"Dras, Diana, Aoli! Get those demons. Sylvi, Barriers up! Vivian, go check Aridus out!" each split to do their respective task. Omegan turned to look at the metal angel... and as she did so an android came to stand beside her.

"Thats super cool QuQ" She bounced around some more before stopping at his feet. "Sooo why /are/ we here??"

"Not... exactly, although I can smell they left to the west from the launch pad... We can check that way."

Aoli reacted immediately, using force to jump and hang onto the dragon's belly. Dras and Diana resorted to firing psychic blasts.

"Hhhrk... " Omegan cringed as the air became colder around her. She had a thick pelt, but.. It wasn't /that/ cold resistant. "This better work..." her luminous accents began glowing brighter until they lit up in a Flash..

Alpha seemed to show no signs of a problem, even with a few claws in her body. She yanked them out, each making a metallic grating sound, before hauling it down to the ground.

"W-what the hell? You talk! Who are you!?" she screeched at the dragon.

Windi heaved in air, her magic usage had drained her energy. "Guys! I don't think we can do this, we may need to defend until this guy quits the lighting trick." Everyone fell back, gathering around Vurai, who cast a larger Spark Shield to encompass them all..

"Not really." Dras snapped back, then muttered an apology. "We can try though."

Vurai looked grateful. "I'll see to it that you're excused from heavy tasks for a few days." she then turned back. "Ready?" electricity coursed through her fur..

The rest watched... Then Dras stepped forwards. His eyes were shining with water and his pace was slow, as if it was painful to move.

One by one, everyone except for Aoli and Vivian,(who was still trying to work on Aridus.) came forwards to sit in a ragged half circle around the body...

The woman shook her head and was seen speaking however...no words came out of her mouth. She the stood up straight and walked over to the circle and looked down on Omegan from over Vurai's shoulder....

Aridus at this point was unconsious as he refused to heal himself....

(He doesn't really like using the souls in his body to heal himself anyways b/c he feels it his fault they are trapped in his body and forced to be used as energy to fuel his own life so he wants as many to live as long as they can within his body.)

Aoli looked at the woman...then to his eldest sister... He rubbed up against Vurai, attempting to somehow comfort her.

Vivian sniffed over his wounds nervously. Was he dead?? She...no, he didn't carry the smell of it yet. She pressed into a rather large gash and focused...a blue aura surrounded her pale paws. Surely this would fix him up...it was a semi dangerous, life energy splitting spell that only the best of healers could learn.

(So I do this over and over but
Vivian's essentially sending him her life energy.
And the reason it's dangerous is there is no quick way to replenish life energy on the field. So she's wearing herself out to bring him back up. It's only for experienced healers and master makes because if it isn't used carefully then it will lead to a coma or in worst cases death in inexperienced healers.)

Aridus was heard speaking "Step back....Dont do that,...Let me show you something Vivian....just please, don't tell anyone..."

A red transmutation circle appeared under the kitsune...the circle lit up and began to glow crimson, the creature's wounds sudden;ly began to heal /"Im sorry I had to use you again...."/ he thought to himself as the circle vanished....

(Now Vivian knows something is up with Ari XDD)

The aura vanished and she did...her eyes widened.

"...what?? what just??" the normally quiet feline was dumbfounded. She had never seen something like...that... She studied the foreign pattern of the circle...it was familiar, but so unfamiliar at the same time.

Then it vanished. She looked back at the gathered creatures, then shook her head. "I'm not even sure I /can/ describe it to anyone...that's incredible."

Aridus looked at her then at the ground "Its not really incredible...if you knew...you'd know it is a curse...thank you for sealing my wounds Vivi~"
He then walked up to Vurai and looked at Omegan."....."

she shrugged. "I've never seen anything like it though." she then followed him and sat by Omegan's head...running a dew tests despite already knowing her fate.

Vurai hardly took notice of either males... She was still trying to find a little warmth in her dead sisters body, something to prove that maybe...maybe...

A light shone down upon the corpse

A light shone down upon the corpse...then shifted so it laid slightly outside the group. A transparent figure slowly appeared...it was that of a pale kitsune, her cream fur layered with patches of purple, red and orange. She looked saddened ...

Aridus looked at her confused "Who is that?"

Niomari began to growl as she looked at the figure....

She looked to Nio and let out an equally fierce snarl. Then, taking light steps, she walked over to the procession, the light trail following.
"...That's...that's Solaria." Aoli murmured in awe. "Omegan pledged her service to her...that's why she's so good a magic and can fly."

Solaria sighed wistfully. "This...this is an awful, awful happening."

Ovaria looked at he, and spoke in a clam motherly voice, "How can you see me? Nobody else can but the few I selected."

Aridus looked at the new figure "....Who?"

Solaria looked up. "I am one of the gods of this world. I can see everything." she then turned to stare at Aridus. "Does that answer your question as well?"

Seeing as she got her point across, she looked back down at Omegan...and put one paw on her head...no, /through/ her head, and then pulled back.

Slowly, her spirit began to rise...

Aridus watched in awe...he then spoke quiet enough so only she could hear him, "You know what I am then...dont you?"

"Yes. I do." she blinked...her mouth didn't move. She had stretched into his conscience. "Or at least I can tell somethings different about you."

The spirit finished materializing, and showed itself to be Omegan's spirit itself, looking around the small circle around her in gratitude and sadness. She then stepped off of herself, and a snap was heard. She had broken the connection to her body...she now sat with Solaria.

"You don't want me to." her eyes gleamed with humor. "And you don't pose a serious threat to anyone yet."

Omegan nodded along with this.

It was at this time that Vurai made a choking sound, and finally dropped to her stomach...the rest looked on in sadness, some crying, some merely in cold fury.

Seth smiled as he nuzzeled her

The ceremony was five days later... Anybody who could make it was there. The news of her death had spread like wildfire despite the ADF's attempts to keep a lid on it.

Now, thousands upon thousands of creature and people, ranging in size and shape, we're gathered around in a vast field. The ceremony was being held to the north, where four statues, one of each god were standing on a large marble plateau, facing inwards. It was as if their granite eyes were watching...

Below the statue of the kitsune was where the coffin was. Everyone close to the fallen leader was allowed to gather around it... The whole area was silent.

Was it like Arcadia(dun remember if tha was the name) Defence FOrce or somethinggg? )

Aridus watched silently...he closed his eyes and began muttering "Minas-Nova, terraphosphate...Aute prairase dei Holaynie Fendarie Omegan

Aoli sat with her...it seemed to finally sink into his brain that his sister was gone...

Even their father had come from overseas... His jaw was clenched in pain and regret.

Chagrin sat behind them...she seemed to understand well enough, and let out mournful howls every now and then, breaking the silence...

Finally, priests to each of the gods stepped forwards. They were fairly dressed, representing the colours of each gods element. They each said a prayer in relation to their gods, then, one by one, they lifted the coffin from its spot, and carried it southward. There was a cemetery to the south...

Aridus looked at Vurai "Do we follow them now?"

she nodded. "M-most people were just here t-to see the..The carrying." she bit her lip and rubbed at her eyes. "A few will remain by t-the...the..."

"If you want we can head back to HQ...This is hard and they'll understand if you need to leave.."

She flashed him a look. "I-I-I'm /staying/"

Aridus nodded "Alright, then I shall stay here with you..." the kitsune spoke as he sat back down and closed his eyes....

Everyone gathered around...they then began to follow the priests to the burial...

Aridus followed Vurai...

Seth looked at Kwanita "Come on, follow mother and I..."

Kwanita looked stunned. "O-okay..."

They eventually came upon the burial places, after passing many people... The priests lowered the coffin into a pre dug hole, and began to cover it with dirt again...Vurai stepped forwards and began scratching at the dirt. Everyone else watches sadly...

Aridus looked at the ground "Vurai. . ."

She acted as if she hadn't heard...and continued scraping

"Vurai stop...."

"I want, to help." she growled through clenched teeth...she could hardly see through her tears, but she still gave Aridus a look.

(oH! I THoought she was trying to dig Omegan back up)

Aridus shook his head as he walked up beside her"Do you want me to help too?"

"..." she stared at her paws. They were already showing signs of wear and tear... She shrugged. "I-If you want..."

Aridus looked at her an sighed he dug his paws into the ground and a pile of dirt slowly began to shift over the hole, making the burial process a lot faster....He pulled his paws from the dirt and smiled "There."
