XD Nice. This is Ruby, right?
The beginning isn't bad. It stays pretty close to the manga in the beginning. But later on, everything starts changing quite a bit. It detached itself from the manga, but it wasn't all that bad, yet. It's the ending that caused a lot of people to hate the first one. I tryed watching the movie that takes place after the ending, and I have to say, I was actually happy half-way through, but the ending is one of the sadest things that I've ever seen. It was worse than the ending of the actual end to the 2003 serise.
I would actually recomend watching the first few episodes of the first one, but don't watch to the end.
