This is to cute. Haha alright what shall the topic be? Why does Vance where girls clothes? Why rusalkas hair is so majestic?

Or maybe both, since I myself am not sure why my daughter's hair is so majestic haha

Haha totally. So
I suppose one day rusalka gathered the courage to ask Vance why he wears women's clothes. As she goes into his tent she finds him slipping into his everyday vest* oh hello princess, there something you need? *he grabs his killing edge and slings it on his back*

"Ah, no... It's nothing major..." She hummed, loitering near the entrance to his tent. "I just had a question, if it wasn't too much of a bother..?"

Not at all I don't have anything planned today anyhow. What's got your mind?

"I was just... Wondering... Why you sometimes wear... Women's clothes..? Ah! Not that anything is wrong with that! Nothing is wrong with that at all! You just didn't seem like the type ..?" Rusalka mentally slapped herself for making such a big deal out of a simple question, rubbing her arm a little awkwardly. "I just remembered seeing you in a wedding gown and a lady's swim suit... Curiosity killed the cat, I suppose." She chuckled softly, glancing off to the side.

*he let's a out a hearty laugh* that's what your question is? Haha well lemme ask you, does it ever bring a smile to your face?

"Yes, it does." A small smile made it's way onto her face as she nodded in affirmation. "Is that why?"

*he smiles sweetly* of course. When my brother and I were young we didn't have a lot of money. Our lively hood was completley based on our crops. When we were sad or starving our dad would *he laughs slightly* he would wear ma's bride gown and act girly. It always cheered us up.

Rusalka's smile faltered slightly. "I see..." She shuffled a little further into the tent, realizing it must've been rude to keep herself at such a distance. "... You and Luke were in a pretty similar situation to my brothers and I growing up, huh?" She paused before she shook her head slightly. "Ah, nevermind that! But I can see why you do that, then... I think it's wonderful."

*he frowns and tilts his head* you know.. You can always talk to me rusalka.. You mean a lot to me you know. I'd hate it if you couldn't trust me..

A tiny smile forced it's way back onto Rusalka's face as she tapped his shoulder. "I know I can, Vance. You've become one of my best friends. I'd trust you with my life." She sighed. "Goodness, look at me. Turning such a light conversation into something heavy and sad."

He shrugs* sometimes heavy and sad is needed..

"With this war raging on, you'd think we'd have plenty of that..." She glances briefly at the tent's entrance before she turns her attention back to Vance. "... I suppose you could say I'm just worried, is all. I've made so many wonderful friends here, like you, despite the circumstances..."

A little sunshine goes a long way
if your ever down in the dumps again princess let me know *laughs* I've got a new sundress.
Things will get better. I promise.

Rusalka laughed softly. "I'll be sure to remember that." She paused for a moment. "... Thank you. For everything you do to keep smiles on everyone's faces."

(( I have one teensy little question of my own haha. I just want to know where the 'Princess' nickname came from because, admittedly, I quite like it hahaha ))
