(Jeremy (Elsen) is wearing an animatronic suit because in the crossover, the common enemies are animatronics. So when an Elsen becomes a Spectre, in this sense, Jeremy is put into an animatronic suit in multiple ways.)
Mike (Batter), blinded by his desire to purify, ends up killing Jeremy, who he thought to be too late to save from being one of the animatronics (Spectres), or something like that. That's how I see it, anyways.
