sloppy ref by Pyrolusite

Here, I did a Chagrin. Pronunciation is on pic... Chagrin is french for 'pain' or depressing feelings in general. #Ferrespecies #TheOthers #Chagrin

Chagrin is a Cloud Demon. These species reside primarily in the River of Wind, although recently have been spotted migrating to other areas.

Cloud Demon are agressive from birth, hopping around and picking fights with anything that moves. Their wings develop a few weeks after, giving them balance and putting their kangaroo-like gait to an end.-

As they grow up, they recieve more scars; battle training is intensive and almost downright brutal. Cloud Demons use sets of tiny but razor sharp teeth, kicks, and scratches from their hind paws. Some practice magic, but it is generally frowned upon, as it takes a lot of mental power that these creatures don't always have.
The oldest Demon can be judged by the amount of lacerations, scars, and any other injuries, temporary or permanent.
Flight leader is determined in battle. Very much like deer when it comes to picking leaders and claiming mates. Loser is not driven out. Usually won't fight to kiIl, mostly to assert dominance.

If you find yourself on Cloud Demon territory, you better have a very good reason, or you might just lose some fur. Quick to attack intruders.

Despite all this, bonds are strong between flightmates; they mourn their dead, they make friends, they care for eachother.
