Rust, the sound of chains and the smell of fire was the first thing to reach my senses. My head was pounding, and a searing pain reachec my conciousness. I screamed out and the wail of sirens called in the distance.
The last few things I remembered was me and my best friends laughing, we were cruising down the dark, winding country road. Then a loud crackling sound came to my ears, and everything had turned black. That was the last thing I remembered.

The sirens were close now, and I tried to open my eyes I felt a torrent of fluid rush down my face. I slowly gathered myself and stood up with a slight stagger. The pain was intense, so much that I felt my stomach churning.

I felt my way around, trying to feel someone, anyone. Were my friends okay? I had to find out, I heard a gasp, though it sounded gurgled. Like someone had just awoken from drowning. I tried to move toward the sound, but I only heard a few groans and it was gone. I hoped that it wasnt one of my friends!

The darkness around me began to give way, though it was like looking through melted glass. My eyes began to burn more, I saw a tall black figure approach me. I then heard its voice, it was a strong male voice with a deep tone " Ma'am I need you to please sit down,"
I ofcourse did as I was told, my tears finally came, I began to shake and sob. I heard his voice calling for an ambulance over his radio.
Within moments, new squeels were comming towards me. Soon i was laid down, the smell of sterility. The air was cool and it felt amazing against my face. I heard a young womans voice saying " Can you give me your name?"
"Lina" I choked out
"Okay Lina, any immediate family?"
"No,"

"Anyone we can contact?"
"no" I murmer through my pain. The girl the explained to me I had been in a horendous car accident, and that I needed to go into surgery immediately.

"S-surgery?! W-what is wrong with me?!" I cried out, but I didnt get a response. I wasn't sure what was going on. My pulse began to run rampant,a ringing in my ears.
Everything that happened next came as a blurr, but soon i felt a mask cover my nose and mouth. A soft voice calming me and a gentle hand on my forehead. Soon the sleep came, the last thought in my mind, melted away into a deep and painless dream.
