Before the meteor hit Earth Piplup was a student at Acme University for a month and Tech's newest apprentice.Before Tech showed his newest invention to one of his teachers,Piplup heared on the radio that the world would end,Zadavia could scense Piplup's souldrive,so she sent here directions to Piplup's headphones so she can find her,unfortunately Pips thought it was a way to save her.Seconds later the university exploded,then Pips ran straight to the pier,but she didn't know about the meteor heading to the ocean,the energy from the blast reactivate Piplup's souldrive to it's original power,changing her eyes to how they look in the present,she then returned to being an idol,after a week has past and Zadavia gathered up the Loonatics Ace found a bunch of fans finding Piplup,he found her in the alley crying,She then told him her life is 10X harder with superpowers now,So Ace took Piplup to introduce her to the Loonatics and she met her soon to be friends and reunited with her mentor/BF
