Don't be ignorant, tracing isn't bad... Alongside that, this isn't funny and I don't see how any above find it so. Tracing is a steppingstone in the process of learning how to draw well, also, your entirely unoriginal meme says "tracing" which includes all kinds of tracing, even yours! If you look in the all time best or w/e its called, section, then you would see many of the 'picture-perfect' paintings are traced... take a picture of them and you try it, see if you can trace a hardcore painting like theirs...

I say when I trace, plus it's pretty obvious in the animation. Tracing is tracing, whether it's a meme, a photograph, a famous painting, etc.

Some I traced, some I did not. I couldn't care less if it's 'bad' to your taste. Tracing will never stop because it's part of drawing.

Whenever you start drawing you learn how to trace anyway because it's part of a learning process.

Tracing isn't bad since it's a good way for people to learn how to draw. However, taking credit for a traced work is bad, and I consider it on the same grounds of stealing art. I detest people who trace and don't say in the description.

I know I'm also a tracer and I really do feel bad, but that ain't stoping me...BD No but seriously give some credit to real artists, think how they feel we are getting credit for their work :(

Yeah I traced, but I'm not ashamed to say that I did it. I gave ALL credits to the original artist. So whether you like a drawing or not is up to you.

there is nothing wrong with tracing it does help with learning how to draw, people need to get over it, if i like a pic cause it looks good then i like it, i dont care if it is trace or not, some of my works are from me and some are trace but i always put my artistic spin on it, there nothing wrong with it so get over it and just worry about your own art

It isn't bad. Some people trace for practice or trace a pic and give credit to the original owner but if you trace an exact pic from the internet and claim it as your own then thats stupid.

I traced a few things but I give credits to the artists of anything I traced.
I even say when my art is traced and colored to fit my needs.
Like my twin OC are Rangiku traces because I like her looks but colored to fit my OCs.
I say when I use base images vs drawing freehand/form memory.

I have 2 tracers... one won't admit it but the other apoligiesed...

It's because original artists can't get best of the week. When the update comes out, according to Jens, best of the week will be seperated into 2 categories. Original drawings and referenced drawings. So if they still hate tracers even AFTER the update, they are whiny little babies who needs to face facts that tracing is nothing wrong in art. Simple as that.

I agree with this. tracing is bad. I mean, why would you draw it anyway if it's not actually made by you. why won't you copy it from the internet instead! I think the only way to get in top ranked, is by making art yourself by talent, not by reference.

I like tracing. Some of us don't have the time to do it by ourselves, even if we can. So far, all I've made are coloring sheets, even though I know I could do better. How do you think I made those?
