The shading technique reminds me of pen ink, though the sharp contrast it brings really works well, especially with the buildings on the horizon. I feel like there's some deeper meaning to this painting though, but I tend to read too much into things. :3 Also, the human proportions are very nice, very nice indeed. B3

I agree with RR, and your paintings do often seem to have deeper meanings. Lovely job with this style, it seems very expressive.
