The Tinkerer worked loyally with the Emperor, using Lowblooded slaves as test subjects in his horrifying experiments. His lab is always cold, so he's rarely seen without his fur coat.
The Rebels once raided his lab, and lost his arm, and nearly died...
The Emperor used the equipment found in the lab, to revive The Tinkerer. (Short Cont.)

The Tinkerer was now trapped in his lab, due to the massive wires stuck in his back. He was repurposed to do more physical tasks to keep the Palace working. The wires send an electric shock or another form of pain, when The Emperor wants him to work harder. Occasionally, when The Tinkerer doesn't comply (usually due to a physical problem), The Emperor might shut down his life support for a second.
The Emperor pushed his already destroyed, freezing or burning, body to the limit once, and The Tinkerer just dropped dead, electricity still coursing through him, making his nerves twitch even though he died. Yes, it was terrifying, especially for the ones who had to drag him out of his lab...
