Ha, this is a really creative idea! I hadn't even heard of this meme. :3 And thank you for the advice! No problem about lateness. I guess it's just hard to find hands in the exact pose I want them to use as a reference, but I'm hoping eventually I get to the point where it just comes naturally. :)

Thanks for the comment! I personally use guidelines to give a little more symmetry and roundness to my characters, and I find it fascinating that most artists don't have to use them and I think of them as role models. With that said, I probably won't learn how to draw without guidelines anyway. But I will agree that it doesn't help with proportions much.
Also nice painting! This meme looks cool and interesting and I love your take on it.
