They just want you to do good in school so you can get into college and have a good future. it may seem like they are being hard on you now but trust me dude you will thank them for it.

@Chobi, yes they may be trying to help but cinni's mental heath is more important than grades, mental heath effects how you do in school (trust me i would know), and also would you rather have a kid that does well in school and goes to college but cant get a job or function proberly because of their mental illness and suffers everydah or have a kid who can atleast pass grade school and have a happy life?

Whoa, whoa, whoa, @Kersius i don't know Cin's personal life or his relationship with his family and that none of my business. But to assume his parents or anyone parents would want to push their kids so far as to the point of a mental breakdown is just absurd.

I personally know my dad will get on me if I'm doing bad in school. Yeah he's gonna yell n such but thats the only way he knows how to show that he's concerned for me. Sometimes he really just doesn't know I want to keep my peace of mind so we do get into conflict. But over the years he's learned to talk it out and comfort.
I don't really know how your parents are but sometimes they really don't know how to approach their kids. Sometimes you need to explain to them over and over how you feel and whats going on because I'm pretty sure they're not mind readers. I do have mental difficulties with subject and what not. My dad really doesn't believe that some things are harder than other things for me. In his mind all you have to do is just do the work and thats that. He doesn't realize that a problem could be deeper.

But what I'm trying to say is that don't take it too personally. Just tell your folks whats up!

@Chobi, it is not absurd to think that because i have known people that have gone to the point of suicide because of their parents neglecting them or etc, i really dont know why you would asume that every parent is "good" to their child. im very sorry that is rude and i hate being rude but this a serious topic that goes on everyday. also cin im sorry that we are fighting
