Born in the mountains= Rock
If someone dies near them whilst they are being born=Ghost
Born in extreme heat (near a volcano)=Fire
Born in a thunderstorm=Electric
Born near the sea, a river or a pond= Water
Their colors vary and the only true way of teling the species apart is by their tail.
It is said that ones born without a tail ending have the ability to change type at will but they are extremely rare.
The species has no male or female, however they have the ability to form the reproductive organs, during mating season they send out energy impulses to attract a mate, once a mate is found, they fight, the loser then creates female organs, the victor becomes a male, once the mating is done the male goes back to having no gender, whereas the female has to stay a female until the babies are born.
