i think its real and people think "ITS JUST THE WIND" in horror movies thats what they always say and die first. and if there is wind, the pencils would move automaically as you balance them 1 continous direction till they fall not staying in place and moving both directions. The explanation is actually really simple. Vibrations/Your breath disturb the pencils and they move because there's so little friction between them.
