I'm probably halfway through Victory Road on Alpha Sapphire now. And instead of going through and challenging Wally, I'm sitting here regreting my life choices. cx

True, but barely.
When you encounter him at the Battle Resort his theme plays. When you battle him, the generic trainer theme plays. Though, that might just be a reference to the original Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
Better than having no Wally battles after the Elite Four.
(I should stop ranting...)
