he's nice cause his intimidation makes ya save your progress, therefore you don't lose anything (villager project requests, fish just caught, etc)

Well, it ain't my fault that the game froze on me, and sometimes we press the power button on accident..
And it's also not my fault that when the internet lags when you're online with someone...
But you're just doing your job, and you didn't know it was an accident, or I did it for a good reason..
