Super late reply:
Heres how I make realistic hair
You start with an outline then fill it in with a dark (or light) solid color
Next I select the black (or whatever color) blurry brush and make its size the smallest possible (transparency at about half)
I repeatidly swipe (in the hairs direction) to draw each hair, theres a lot of hair so I go fast, after you make a nice hair texture, make the brush as transparent as possible and go over the hair again to perfect the details
Anyways thats how I do it, hope this helps!
