Technically, she's mostly the same. She can take off her shoulder cover, as seen here, but she usally wears it.

The major change is her gem powers. Now, instead of simply wielding a scythe, she now can control light. Sphalerite can bend light to look however she wants. She usually uses this power to create illusions, but occasionally she can solidify the image and create, say, a weapon.

Like Lapis Lazuli's water wings, S's arm can blind peeps.
