Trying to build upon what I have learned, combined with going outside and carefully observing how light and material behaves every day. It's getting quite impressionistic at this point, probably since I'm spending more time designing the tones, rather than the shapes.

Oooh! I look at this and seems like you're doing pretty well so far. It's looking cool. It probably needs to be blended up a bit more, but other that, keep up the awesome work.
