CONTINUED: I want their plan to be world-shattering HUGE and place a risk to the entire land. I'm feeling that said plan should be just plain WRONG on all levels, kind of a "fate-worse-then-death" type situation. Do any of you have ANY suggestions or ideas?! I don't care how stupid they sound, I want to know them for my story! Please help out anyway you can.....

Hmmm...how about they plan on enslaving the human race(or whatever) and stuffing them together in a nazi camp type setting, then experimenting on things such as emotions, especially fear, which makes people schizophrenic or whatever....meh, I tried.

Hmm, I'd keep the focus small. Sure, the villains can do something global, but whatever their plan is is far more effective if we see it affect a small group of lives we care about.

Also, having them do it in the name of "justice" is the motive I'd have. The most heinous acts in the world have been done with what seemed like a noble goal in mind. Godwin's law invoked: Hitler wanted to unify Germany.
