I needed to draw something whimsical and lazy, so I drew my shiny flygon Darren making friends with a random flabebe. Those little things are so cute, I should really train one some time!
I read the profile (and a lot of pictures of) a person before I follow them. Not only did I find you're an amazing artist and a great person, it also looks like you do the same thing! XD You deserve an applause or something. Keep up the great art, and everything else. :)
Thank you so much, guys! Your comments mean a lot to me! ^-^
@Cetasoul: Hee hee. True, but that depends on levels. Darren's at lvl 100 and only knows one Dragon type move. (Dragon Claw. His other moves are Crunch, Dig, and Fly.) But I think he'd be too big of a softy to fight it.
Jake (Though I doubt you'll see this.)--I'm just standing up for the values I believe in. If you can, why shouldn't I? I have my side, I'll let it be known, and I'll stand by it.
i'm not intending to be rude whatsoever, and if you wouldn't like to reply for any reason, i would understand. uvu i saw your comment on jasonthelion's post and i'm honestly just curious,, what exactly makes you feel the way you do on trans/ non-conforming individuals and non-hetero individuals ? :0 i understand not approving of homosexuality because of your religion, but i don't recall the bible mentioning gender outside of that ? thank you for reading,,
@Hyperhomo First of all, I appreciate your politeness. Thank you! ^-^
Also, thanks for bringing to my attention that I need to read the Bible more often. I had to do some research, but what I found intrigued me. To start, God made male and female, and ONLY male and female. What He chooses for us to be is in His design. Therefore, by going against our s.exuality, we go against His design. Plus, it all just seems to bring chaos... I'll admit though that I'm a bit of a tomboy. Does that make me a hypocrite? <:/
i've noticed that most transgender individuals strictly identify as either male or female, however, so it's not as though they'd be going against the first part, is it ? :0 and what of intersex individuals who are born as a combination/variant of male and female ? are they simply a mistake ? aaa i suppose it would be going against a creator's design, yet there are trans individuals who have expressed their feelings of being in the wrong body since they were a toddler and stuck with it to adulthood. if anything, it seems they were created this way. ah, no, being a tomboy doesn't make you a hypocrite, at all ! ;v; if you still see yourself as female and have ultimately no problems with being such, you wouldn't be going against anything you said. uvu thank you for replying ! :D
@Hyperhomo That first part was more of an establishing thought. But yeah, I guess you're right there. I'll post another comment with a quote from a website I found. (There's not enough room.) But here I'll say that NO one is a mistake. God has a plan for anyone willing to take part. I can't say I know how it all works, but that's why I'm not making the final call.
And to be clear, I'm not against the people, it's the action I'm against. I have respect for anyone who's polite, like you.
Jake (I hope you don't mind that I keep calling you that.) You have no idea how big a compliment that is to me! Thank you! X3
"No matter if the gender distortion has a genetic, hormonal, physiological, or psychological cause, the Bible clearly and consistently lables any s'exual activity outside of marriage or between a man and a woman as sin, rebellion against God's plan. But following this realization is good news: sin can be forgiven and lives can be changed through faith in Christ. ... There is hope for any sinner, transs'exuals, transgenders, and transvestites [cross-dressers aiming to look the other s'ex.] included, because of God's forgivness available in Jesus Christ." --www.gotquestions.org's article on s'exuality in the Bible.
^ i just find it a bit odd that they would be born that way, if it's not what god intended ? unless i'm understanding it incorrectly aa.
i find myself a bit confused by this quote ? :0 so is it only wrong for these people to be the way they are if there is sexual activity involved in their lifestyle ? i get that you might not be able to answer these because i doubt the bible covers everything but i'm just curious. ;v;
and i feel as though the bible has gender identity and sexuality confused at times, :0 this might be me misinterpreting what i read, but it seems like they use sexuality to cover trans* individuals as well as non-hetero people, when the two are very different things.
aa it's cool that you have nothing against the people themselves ! others i have spoken to have felt differently, and it's nice to see someone like you for a change. ;v;
@Hyperhomo I found it odd too, but it sounds like genetic s'ex/gender distortion is caused by past inbreeding, after the Great Flood happened. But I believe, whatever the case, God always intends it for good; He won't make mistakes. A Christian's goal should be to bring glory to God, and He will use and help anyone to reach that goal. "Only wrong if there's s'exual activity involved", no, I don't think that's so. Someone could live life completely alone and clean while being, say, transgender, and it would still be a sin. We have the hope of forgivness through Jesus though. :) The article was actually specifically about transs'exuals, transgenders, transvestites, and homos'exuals. I was the one who said "s'exuality" instead. But the meaning of the word "s'exuality", according to dictionaries, does cover indeviduals' gender and s'exual identity, homos and heteros included. Basically, it covers ANYthing relating to s'ex and gender.
