Arthex by Kagexin
This is my [closed] species, the #Arthex. [Plural: Arthi]
They have three toes on each paw, with their pawpads usually being a darker shade of their main fur color. They have retractable claws, used for hunting and fighting.
The "spikes" on their paws and neck are used for communication. The Arthex can move the spikes, creating noises to talk to other Arthi. They also have a variety of barks, howls and growls, used to fend against predators.

The sensors in place of their eyes and on the outside of their legs detect surroundings and movement. These spots are very sensitive to harsh light and touch.
Arthi are nocturnal, meaning they sleep during the day. They usually spend nights burrowing, caring for newborns and nursing mothers or hunting.
Their fur can be any color, pattern or have any design. The spines are usually 1-3 colors and the sensors are usually bright blues, greens or yellow.

Arthi also have three tail types - poofy (picture), thin, and skinny - and two ear types - normal (picture) and small.
