#Transsexual #Transgender
Some people think the terms are similar / the same. Welp. They're not. Sort of.
I did my research. Transse.xual means you transition from one se.x to another / getting surgery so your genitals match your identified gender. Transgender (moi) is only transitioning from one gender to the other. But only your mindset / appearance changes. No hormones, no surgery, nothing like that. If you don't believe me, look it up. Transvestite is also sort of different. Be sure not to
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

mix these terms up with each other. It gets on my nerves even though it shouldn't.
Thought you guys needed a little education moment from me. :)

uh..... sort of. transgender just means you identify with a gender other than the one you were assigned at birth, so it includes nonbinary people and such. transsexual is another word for binary transgender (MTF or FTM), and USUALLY implies that surgery is involved. but 'transsexual' is generally considered outdated and sometimes even offensive. that's the difference.
if somebody is binary transgender (MTF or FTM), you can decide whether or not to have surgery and/or hormones. there's really no difference. you don't need surgery to be a 'transsexual', and if you have surgery, you can still be considered 'transgender'.
transgender is kind of an umbrella term, and transsexual falls under that umbrella.
also. I don't really feel at all like I transitioned my mind. and I don't feel like my body is 'female'. it's just... my body. I don't know.

Everyone, go to the browser and look at his comment. It's much more accurate than my explanation.
