Natalia (Art Trade: SilentClover) by HowlingZero

Aaaand... Boom, art trade for @SilentClover.
Natalia from Tales of the Abyss... Always been a conflicting game for me. Luke is annoying, but I appreciate his development, albeit slow as shiz. The combat is mindnumbing, but the story had some interesting moments. It was my first Tales game though, so I appreciate it for introducing me to the series.
Well anyways, enough of that, hope you like it!

Aw, yeeeeeeeaaaaah, Tales of The Abyss!

LOVE it. Gotta try the other Tales games eventually...

Nice, very nice. Shading, style, even the wrinkles in the clothes are great! But, her arm seems a bit short. Generally, from comparing with my own body, and observing others, the upper arm (above the elbow) generally ends in the same area as the ribcage, rather close to the hip. With the anatomy here, her hips could begin right after the picture ends. You don't have to adhere to that idea exactly, just something to keep in mind. My rule when I draw: "does this person's arm look, like they could reach to touch maybe near mid-thigh while standing erect?" No? Too short. Also, the curvature of her back seems at too low an angle when compared to her shoulder.
I really hope these critiques don't discourage you. I adore your drawings, and think you have a lot of potential, that's why I comment on this stuff like I do. I want to see you do even better, because I know you can.

Nah man, I hear ya. I mean, sure, it's a bit discouraging, but more in the sense of "Shi't, I wish I fixed that." I'll never take fault with someone for saying the truth, I'm (technically) an adult, I can take it.
I think I knew the arm was off, but I got too lazy to redraw it by the time I noticed. Plus, I'll admit that my anatomy suffers when pictures are more zoomed in (although, my shading takes a step up) but I shouldn't use it as an excuse.
But anyways, don't worry about it man, I always appreciate the comments.

Hah! Glad you like 'em, after all, YOU gave me the idea to use those tags! Though, I was, and still am, a bit embarrassed by that OC... It's sorta me forcing myself into self-acceptance...

Caught me. Yup, that was me... Kinda testing the waters, was seeing how far Colors! could be pushed and how accepting people on here were. 'fcourse, I deleted that account and all of the drawings. LOUSY quality, and arbitrary dumb ideas for the sake of "play-testing" the ToS.

And yeah... I have issues with organized religion, Hanaah was basicily, though unintentionally, my first rebelion. Anything mildly suggestive, even just outfits of girls on TV, was like blastphemy and if you have natual teenage urges, you're sick and need to beg forgiveness from a god not one of them understands in the least.

Looks awesome :D this was my first Tales game too.(I got the 3ds remaster I guess you'd call it) I agree Luke was rather annoying and yes, after awhile, the battles do get "meh" but I do like the game and it made me want to play them all xD LONG LIVE TALES lol
