Tracing from your OWN drawings is fine. I am talking about those, who directly trace from someone else, and then takes all the credit. This thing has happened to me in one of the Facebook groups I'm in, they traced a pose I made, and took the credit. Worst part, I'm not even good at drawing, so they must have been seriously desperate. Tracing won't make you an artist, practice will. I know screech shares the same opinion, hence why I use her character. Thanks! :) #aerostotlesoa #LikeYay
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Actually, I think tracing is fine as long as you either ask or don't post it as your own idea. I know that when I first started getting serious about drawing, I had no idea where to even begin. Tracing gave me a feel for getting used to drawing certain ways, what bones are where and why something shouldn't bend a certain direction, things like that. Besides, drawing a bunch of different styles can help you find what you're comfortable drawing. Don't take this the wrong way, but I think tracing and stealing are fairly different depending on your perspective. I never posted/claimed any of the things I used to trace, but if I had, that is when it's considered stealing if you haven't asked and gotten permission from the owner. (My long comment is long o.o;)

Oh, and if you do find someone who has copied/traced your work without permission then posted it without crediting, I'd suggest you ask them to delete the post or give you credit and if they don't, report it.
