Having never been in a relationship, or even asked someone out, my advise is probably gunna stink, but here I go X'P
I think you should try and tell him you like him. Maybe in a round-about way, but still tell him. I think it would geet some pressure off your chest if you just told him. If he says he likes you too, great! If he says he doesn't, still try and win his heart. Do some nice thigs for him, and don't give up. There might still be a chance for you, even though he has a crush on someone else.

It's absolutely possible that he could have more then one crush. Why couldn't he? And chances are, if he's not telling them, he might be desciding who he likes more. If you come up and tell him you like him, chances are he'll pick the one he knows his feelings are mutual with. You'd have a much better chance.
You've gotta get the courage to tell him! I don't really know anything about him, but if he's a nice guy, I'm sure he'd at least consider you. :)
