this is something I've been working through lately (mostly on paper//canvas, sorry for the inactivity!) and it's one of the first things I say whenever young artists ask me for advice irl.

it's so easy to get caught up in "will my followers like this? is it good enough? what mistakes are there?" I'm a perfectionist, so I do that sort of thing a lot.

but when you just let your imagination run wild and then look at (or listen or read) your art later, amazing things can happen. let it run wild!<3
