My mother.
I like her, she's a great person, open minded, extremely kind and intelligent and with a great sense of humour.
She was about twenty in the photo and looked beautiful but I made her look fourty in this painting.
I'm disappointed, she looks so nice in that photo.
I used to cry when I spent a few days away from her when I was a child and my grandmother showed me the picture so I would stop crying.

She looks like my mom, except mine has red hair and isn't Portuguese. We might be related.

This is a very beautiful painting. You should show her this and tell her how much you truly love and appreciate her. It's almost mother's day after all.

Coolio. I'll probably use whatever you make - unless it's craaaaap. Then I won't.
I'm sure we're related if you trace it back far enough. Just thirteen generations back and you've got about 8l62 thirteen times great grandparents. And that's only in that one generation. Back in the day, people had a about a dozen kids too. I'm British, French, and Swiss to absolutely minute degrees thanks to the Lebo/Lebeaux family and Judith Hanotiaux.
I went overboard on this family history project in my college history class and discovered three hundo relatives of mine on Ancestry.com. I used the free fortern day trial, so I didn't have to pay. Haha. I went back to the 15OO's.

My mother would always ask me to paint her but I feared that my skills were limited-and that there would be no resemblance. Yet, recently the thought does not sound so bad, I want to paint her in arcrylic and oils.

must have unfollowed seaglass by accident, my bad
26 May, 2022, 11:12 pm
anyway, i think i was looking through your posts when i came across a conversation between you and seaglass from a decade ago talking about your fascination with eachothers artwork, and how youre so different from each other yet so similar
26 May, 2022, 11:14 pm
and i guess that in turn fascinated me, it was like watching the start of a beautiful friendship, i dunno man
26 May, 2022, 11:20 pm
i guess what i meant about the request was, paint seaglass in your style, of seaglass painting a painting in seaglass's style. if that makes sense. but honestly its too much of a headache, and imitation is bad. and and and sorry for stalking

it's just rare to find quality art on here, but both you and seaglass's art stuck with me and genuinely inspired me. So yeah, let me know where you post now? thanks polemn
