The clang of metal rings in the three ears of Clogfire.
"This should be a real beauty, miss ClogFire."
WhisperingCrook, her eager stone crafter apprentice cooly said to ClogFire.
"Thank you Crook. And as I've said, you can call me just Fire."
"Alrighty then, Fire."
She chuckled with a sly smile.
ClogFire brought down the red hot stick with a final clang. She immeadiatley plunged the newly crafted gem set into icy water.
"You almost done with yours, Crook?"
"Yes miss. A few more hits, and it should be done."
Clogfire brought her set out of the water and stared at it.
A red diamond shaped glistening ruby sat between two glittery sapphires. She used a cloth dipped in polish to wipe the surface.
