HEY fyi apparently it is $125 to get it repaired by nintendo?!?!?! so??? I am going to see if anybody I know knows someone who can fix it... blehehhhhh

UPDATE IF ANYBody is reading this I guess:
nobody at leagues knew anybody, and my friend's dad couldn't fix it. other than dicking around and looking at youtube videos, I think we're out of options other than sending it to nintendo for the expensive-ass repair or getting a new one. bleh.
