#torchbearers mythology: The world was covered in a white viel until two twins climbed a tall tower and created a spark that revealed the sun and brought colour to the world. But the event was catastrophic in that it ended up splitting the planet in two....ill expand in the comments if someone wants me too.

the world being split seperated the two twins and theyre thought to embody the lower and upper half of the planet. Sparks are a thing that originally embodied hopes and dreams, and are considered the sun's tribute to the twins. the colour of someones spark is considered very important due to this junk. it also decides what kind of powers can be drawn from it. however, grey sparks mean that the powers are inaccessible. sparks grant longer life spans and most people with grey sparks aren't expected the live that long, although some live very long.

the protagonist of the story has a grey spark, but they have a very good memory! so if a spark enters them, they'll simply draw all that they saw.
