...And I'm sick of hearing that the Bible says XYZ. It is ultimitely YOUR decision to discriminate or not. You can't hide behind your religion. Choosing to take the Bible literally doesn't make you less of a Christian- it actually does the opposite, because some passages contradict the main points or the Bible (love thy neighbor) anyway.

It's your choice to discriminate. It's not my choice to fall in love or be who I am.

It's really coincidental you bring this up, cuz I told my friend I loved her today. She was totally okay. But the homophobic remarks came in the later part of the day. For instance, a kid in my class laughed when my teacher said HOMO sapien, to classify a human. He just made an excuse to say it was something else. Someone later said something bad about gays, but I forgot what. It hurt, man. Even if it wasn't directed at me. :/
