@Green-Eye if you look at the grain off wood, you can see little knots, what I did was sketch out the knots off wood where I wanted them with little ovals and such, and then used the blurry tool on full opacity, but smallest size, and had the lines go around it, I would start with the lines furthest away making the biggest dent first around the knot, and then work my way closer, with the closet one almost touching but having the smallest indent. then repeat wherever, but don't do straight lines ever, have them curve and twist randomly, but very slightly, and not all wood has knots as well.
