You should have said to him "I can't spend the rest of my life with someone who can't even be honest with me and share everything about his past with me, I'm sorry." Then it might have inspired him to get his act together! Now he can't be saved because Toon Link or BB will just enable his addiction more! The town will fall to ruins after he destroys himself!
