Aww, this is so true! And "Love your ememy, do good to those who wrong you, bless those who curse you." is one of my favorite verses too. I did this with showing the futility of fighting fire with fire, but this shows the goal: Love one another. :3
I remember this verse well. I've read it before and the basics stuck. I don't even recall where it is. Heap burning coals on your enemies' head by doing them right
I'd have to look up the exact verse numbers too, since remembering numbers is not my strong suit. :P The burning coals verse is from Romans, but the other love your enemy verses are from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew and Luke. That's where turn the other cheek and if someone steals your coat give him your shirt and don't demand them back come from. In Romans, Paul is referencing one of the Proverbs. When we are evil to people who mistreat us, it justifies their treatment, but if we are nice, it convicts them. :3
As far as the checking your branches/roots, comment above John:15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches, If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit AMEN!

Colors told me that every removal is justified. Saying that all my art is inappropriate, even the religious art.
Sometimes we see so much decay in the branches, that we forget to check the roots.
