Funny thing is, I totally agree. Three pages is a breeze. Like, in the context of writing a three page essay? Easy. But if it's like, I've written eight pages on a topic and feel like I've squeezed my brain dry on the subject, but I have to force myself to write three more pages somehow. Now THAT'S hard.
As for the topic, it's about how American occupation has affected the political and economic state of Japan and the Philippines. There's a lot to talk about, but yeeeesh. I don't want to sound too scatterbrained on the essay, it's a pretty big part of the grade.

Thanks, bruh. Funny thing is, I think a big part of the job as a "college student" is complaining about being a college student. 'Cuz right after I finished complaining, I pumped out like two more pages.
But yeah, I just quoted an opening, nothing big. Though, if you're interested in mecha, I'd recommend Aldnoah.Zero over Gundam right now. It's super good, one of the best anime of the past decade I'd say.

That is a really cool essay topic. Did you choose the topic or was it assigned to you? Man I love those post-colonial essay topics, how the imperialist policies of yesterday influence eveything from the rise of Boko Haram in Nigeria to the prevalence of Catholicism in the Philippenes....it may be nerdy but those essays are kind of my natural high. But yeah, I procrastinate on them too...no joke, last year I wanted to use sources directly from the government's archives site, but I procrastinated until the last minute and guess what? The government shut down happened so I couldn't access the site. If I had started the essay earlier, before the site temporarily stopped running, I could have used it and my sources would have given greater credibility to my argument against the effectiveness of the Bush-era War on Terror. And yeah I think the caffeine in the Dew is a diuretic.
