"Zan, as your lifetime protector, it's only natural for me to fear for your health. You need this appointment!" Zan sighed as he accepted his butler's valid point. The two were only a short walk away from the office.

The scrawny boy followed closely behind Lucian, unable to see the small pleased grin on his face as they approached the office.

"Alright, we're here!" Lucian said softly, patting his master's back. "Is the doctor even nice?" Zan whined, stepping forward and knocking on the door. "Oh, he is. I thought you've seen him before..."

"Why thank you, miss." Lucian said with a bow before stepping inside with Zan. "Oh my god, she's sooo adorable!" the younger boy squeaked, immediately perking up.

Zan looked up to see who the new voice belonged to, and his expression quickly darkened. "Oh, you..." he muttered. "H-Hey, don't be like that!" Lucian piped up with an embarrassed blush.

Lucian could practically feel Zan's glare. "Here," he shoved the papers to his servant. "Lets just get this over with..." he murmured, crossing his arms with a huff. "I-I'm so sorry, he's normally not like this!" Lucian said with a sweatdrop, trying to dismiss his master's actions.

Zan complied and gave the doctor one last warning look before following Evela. The young demon sighed, already filling out the papers. "Oh, I hate it when he gets like this, he'll have an attitude for the rest of the day..." he said with a nervous smirk.

"Heh, I honestly have no idea why he's like that with the nicest people." he said with a shrug as he wrote down the last of the information. "I can't really imagine someone as cute as you drawing in hate like that..."

The servant handed the papers to Vix, but not without a quick peck on the cheek. "I'll wait out here. Good luck trying to get through to him!"

Zan sat at a chair in the exam room, flipping through a magazine. He didn't even notice the doctor walk in.

Setting the magazine slowly, Zan glanced up at Vix, then looked back at the floor, still irritated with the man's presence.

Eventually Zan spoke. "Don't even think about it. I'm only here to make Lucy happy, so just tell him I'm healthy and everything'll be just fine..." the boy ordered.

"But I'm p-perfectly fine!" he whined, though it was obviously a lie. "I just...I don't know why he scheduled this, it was a stupid idea!"

Zan blushed deeply and bit his lip. "...Fine." he mumbled, rubbing his arm. He seemed fidgety, as if he were afraid.

The boy hesitantly obeyed the doctor, opening his mouth.

It took a moment, but the thermometer eventually said 100.3. "W-Well, what is it?" he asked.

"Ugh..." he groaned. "I...I guess." he gripped at the arm of the chair. The boy's hair seemed a little more frizzy once he heard the temperature.

"Well, not really stuffy, but my stomach is a bit tender right now." he said, his expression finally softening.

Zan thought for a moment. "I dunno, just a...a..." he was inturrupted by his own kitten-like sneeze. "..A lot of sneezing."

"Just for a couple of days..." Zan replied, crossing his arms over his stomach. "How many questions does he have? He said it wouldn't take long!" the boy thought.
