A message by PenguinzRULE

This is very much overdue, and I feel so horrible for just dissapearing, but also finally breaking this vicious cycle of not posting.
This really goes out to the few people who might stick with me, and I would be very grateful for that.
if it matters, I made a dA account, CharThePenguin
thank you all so much, I don't know if I will be able to post much else with this sd card.

Eyyyyy B)
I thought you were gone for good tbh. I know it sucks that your sd card is running out but like JuicedBananas said, can't you just buy a new one?? Anyways, it was nice to see an update from you even if it was just a quick scrib.
(Oh this is Star btw. :V I don't know if you still rememer me though haha)

Hiya Char. I hope life's going well for you. I'm glad you're back even if it's temporary. Though now that you mention it, I think I've been treating DA the same way...

SD card-wise, you could get a second one, but swithcing them would probably get annoying. You could get a bigger one and do a transfer, but idk how to do that. I'm sure it's not too hard but I've never tried. If it's Colors-wise you could delete some paintings you don't need anymore, but idk how much space that frees up (probably not a lot)

I saw your comment on Witzke's comic, and I thought I might be able to help. I recently replaced my sd card with one that had a lot more storage space. The transferring process was as simple as copying the 3ds data onto my computer's desktop, putting the new sd card in the computer, and copying the data onto the new sd card. When I put the card in my 3ds, I still had everything I had before: all downloaded games, apps, pictures, etc. Colors! 3d was still on my main menu, and all my drawings were still in my personal gallery as well. Nintendo has a list of sd cards they have confirmed to work with the system, and you can order sd cards straight from Nintendo as well. I hope this helps!

I'm glad to have helped! :)

There are a few things you should keep in mind when you transfer data between sd cards:
One. Do not click into the "Nintendo 3ds" folder on the sd card (This folder might be titled "3ds data"). Nintendo warns against altering or erasing files from this folder. The folder should be copied onto the new sd card in its entirety.

Two. Do not swap between the old card and the new card once the transfer is done. Always use the new card.

Three. Do not overwrite data by copying to the same sd card.

This is all from Nintendo's support page. I think I had also heard from another source that the 3ds should be kept off while it doesn't have an sd card in it.
If you have any questions, just let me know.
