Okay, that iris is just brilliant! You captured its depth and complex coloring very well, same goes for the skin color. But, to offer a critique, the shape of the eye and the eyelashes could use some work (although eyelashes are very, very difficult!)

Here's a fact that may help:
Your eyeball is GREY until light hits it. So try and draw your eyeball Grey first, and make it a lighter grey when some light is hitting it. Use low opacity WHITE for your highlights. :D
