I like how you didn't just do distance between the two rabbits, but also the fog and the face in the bg. It really emphasizes the feel of the painting. But maybe they're too busy or distracted and it only seems they don't care? People can be flakey. Maybe they're not aware? I guess I always try to see the positive side if it exists.
