A long time ago I used furry doll maker and I created Flame, Diva and Sammy (a character I never shown). Soon after I made bead dolls of Flame and Sammy as background characters for Sonic and Pals (which never happened).
By the time I made Flame (as b-d) my Sonic b-d broke and I lost some of his beads, leaving him half made. I then created a new species, Hedge-snakes, based on that. When I made Flame, I wanted her to be a h-s too. So I made 2 Flames, one normal and the other is not...

and I made Flame into Sonic's guardian from when he's a hedge-snake.
The reason why this Flame is different to colors! Flame is because back then I was very limited on my ability to tell stories and that sort of stuff.
One day I hope to show everyone, who Flame really is.
