Aeda is Aionia's "main goddess" of sorts. She created the planet on accident when she was very young by knocking over an orb. Most planets created without genuine feeling die within a week, but Aionia stayed for a very long time. Eventually, the other Celestials decided for Aeda to rule over it and observe it, as she created it.
Because it was created on accident, from space, Aionia looks like a huge "glitchy" mass of nothing.
For a very long time, Aeda didn't really do anything to or with the planet as most celestials would. she was still young, and kind of scared of responsibly. But life still marched on without her. She didn't even intervene when the humans came to Aionia,,,,anyhow, the first time she actually did something was thousands of years after the planets creation....she created a temple of sorts for herself (it still exist in current Aionia) so she could be (physically) closer to the people of the planet. And the first thing she did was lie about she created the planet! vv

she claimed she created on purpose and intended it to be a utopia for its people. this is still what people today believe; shes too ashamed to admit shes been lying for thousands and millions of years. The second thing she did was seperate Aionias land to avoid a war that was tnreatening to happen. But she realized it'd be difficult for just herself to rule over now 7 different continents, so she created 7 goddesses for each one. Lumens is the ruling goddess of continent Illumeya, the bear people, hunting and feast.
Lowe is the ruling goddess of Lovelescia, bird people, time and technology.
Narcissa is the ruling goddess of Nara(ka), aquatic people, fertility and love.
Orens is the ruling goddess of Orenjo, sheep people, peace, and story telling.
Lucidna is the ruling goddess of Analucia, cat people, sleep, and poetry.
And Terian is the goddess of Terracia, snake people, war, and luck. Then, Aeda created two more gods, Eris, goddess of miracles, and Era, god of destruction. vvvv

Eris and Era are Aedas partners of sorts! They're second ranking to her and possibly both dating her tbh. Other than those ten, Aionia many dieties! one for every day of the year in Aionia! And let me explain another thing; when children on Aionia are born, they get a power from the god they were born under. They can be kinda useless, like finding something you lost only after you stopped needing/wanting it, or something cool, like telekinesis or pyromancy! Anyhow...
after creating the seven ruling goddess, Aionia pretty much stopped being at all involved with planetary affairs for a very long time. She hadnt really....gotten too mature at this point in time. This made all the other gods very annoyed, as you might assume, but no could could go against her. Fighting amonst them would harm the planet, and if Aeda died, so would they, as she created them. Aeda didn't really do anything until The War happened. The war started when a lady named Aloris Insigna vvv

pretty much became an all powerful ruler in Lovelescia, and launched an invasion to take over Illumeyas capitol, Opulescent. She wanted to creat her version of an ideal world under what was basically communism but somewhat more evil. Aeda could only intervene in small ways what with being a goddess and the likes,mbut she didn't know what to do!! Because of her negligence, she didn't know what her wanted or in what ways she could help put a stop to the war. And thus the war went on for about fifty years. It end is called the Day of Sun, because, well, there were these scientist who tried to construct something called the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse was an invention that could absorb light and repel darkness, like a vacuum of sorts. It created an umbrella of a healing light (that also amplified crop growth!) It was to serve as a beacon of hope. But there was one of them who saw that if its process was reversed, it could serve as a weapon of devastation, and that's exactly what it did. vvv

when the Lighthouse was activated, it created an umbrella of darkness across the entire planet. It stayed like this for about a day. Inside what are now called "Lighthouse Zones", time was stopped completely. No one could enter or exit them. Amd when the Lighthouse receded, it sucks entire chunks of the planet into inself, andthe island it had been constructed on sank deep into the Earth. The Lighthouse Event completely changed the planets geography, and certain areas are still affected by it today. There is no time or movement on certain bits and pieces of the planet. Anyways, once the Lighthouse receded, the sky remained dark for almost a year. And which no sun in the sky, the planet became cold and crops nearly stopped growing entirely. Until one day, the darkness left, and the sun shined again. After all this, Aeda descended to talk to her, and everyone assumec it was her doing. But it wasn't! She has no clue who how sun returned. Neither do any of the other celestials. vvvv

Aeda didn't want to say that, however, so she pretended that she hadn't been basically ignoring the planet and took credit for the sun's return. There's now a festival celebrating the sun and Aeda on that day that only makes her feel more guilty for not telling the truth, because they love her so much and she doesn't deserve it. For the next however many years, Aeda has been trying to make up for her negligance and patch things up with her fellow Celestials. Shes trying really hard, but doesn't always do a good job,,im probably forgetting something but thats basically what happened. @-@ Oh! The actual Celestial Realm was destroyed (this is discussed more in ruw) and the gods moved their location to an island instead of a temple...also Cyclops Persona lives in a floating castle above Aionia and Aloris was a sibling(?) of hers...

i should mention!! cyclops personas species isnt all cyclopses, the only reason why cyclops persona is a cyclops is because of an injury that made her stuck that way. Aloris could shape shift to look like an average Aionia. Also Cyclops persona an ex-queen and possibly came from the Celestial Realm.

Cyclops persona could very possibly be why the Celestial Realm doesnt exist anymore and that might be her reason for never descending and/or communicating with the othef Celestials.....

the Lighthouse sounds so cool, I love it when time gets messed up. was Lowe mad about it though? cause of being in charge of time and all. also do you have any sheep people characters because I love...the sheepies...

it would be neat if it wasn't so destructive! and possibly, i havent fully sorted out how the other gods feel about the whole thing...and yes, I do! I never draw them tho,,,,
