Chrom & Charizard by Time Paladin
Well, I can't have a crossover between Pokemon and Fire Emblem: Awakening without featuring Charizard or Chrom at least once, so why not have them together? : D
In actuality, I was going to give Chrom Empoleon, due to their royalty and matching colors, but I though Chrom should at least have a Pokemon that could mega evolve, so I went with Charizard. I think it works pretty well. : )

Inu-Strider: You should check out KrazyKcF's version, which is also under #PokEmblem.
I chose not to pair up characters with legendary Pokemon, with a few exceptions like Validar as well as one that's coming up.

Gills: I thought that too. Lucario and Chrom would fit pretty well if I didn't already have him with Paladin. What's funny though is I really started liking Chrom and Charizard after I finished drawing it, because blue and orange are complimentary colors. : )

The duo of Chrom and Charizard seem to compliment eachother quite nicely. I really do like all of the fine details put in to this painting, along with the use of light reflection. The Mega Stone inside the Falchion is a pretty awesome touch too!
I think you can tell that I'm really impressed by this. lol
