She said she's sorry and for us to say she died in a previous mission xD

Okay I'll start from where we left off ;v;

Okeyy

Nanai's jaw tightened as one of the preps injected a needle in her arm. The process was repeated several more times. Then it was Baxter's turn. While he got his injections; Nanai pressed conversation for why all of this was necessary. "You see, young one, we are sending you into the wild. A new domain, something we do not know of. We are giving you vaccines so you are immune to some of the diseases that are out there." Nanai pawed at her muzzle and blew her tuft of hair out of her vision. "What's with the packs?" The prep smiled at her. "It's to increase your chance of survival and to make sure you do not bail on us." "Bail?..." "If you happen to make a mistake, such as taking off the patches we will be putting on your arms, it will self destruct and you know where that goes." The prep rushed towards the counter top and picked up two sticky tabs. "Open up." "What's this-" She coughed after. "Perfect. These are to ensure you are healthy. Now, leave me to your fellow partner over here and you will proceed to your next course. Also your last course." Humph, this was turning out to be extravagant.

Baxter was nervous whenever it was his turn for the injections. While to whole conversation was taking place Baxter only listened and didnt join in, only gathering the information the preps were saying, which somewhat made him calm

When the main prep had finished, the other two stepped up to Nanai and Baxter and gave them their packs. The room spun once more and now they were in a different room. There was a familiar face there. An instructor. "Ah yes. You two. I am aware that you have been notified about this mission. Yes? I am just here to make sure nothing is misunderstood." The instructor reviewed everything they'd said before and at the end he asked if there were any questions. None were asked. "Alright then, best of luck to you chaps. See you on the other side." A bright light blinded them and they had officially begun their mission.

Baxter payed attention once more, when the mission begun, he fixed his glasses and said with a stutter at first "w-well... Its finally started....pretty exciting isnt it?"

She took in her surroundings. "Y-yeah, I guess so.." The grass felt soft under her paws, but when she looked up, the sky looked grayish green. Not the best sign. "How are we supposed to do this?.."

Baxter starting looking around, taking as much detail as he can "welp... Lets look around and see if theres anyone around, and see if they know this 'plant' we need, if not then lets try to find any other things as effective as what we are looking for"

She agreed with the male and they continued to look, scouting the terrain, until their legs would give out.

Baxter noticed something from not a far distance. Out of curiosity, he goes to examine it.

Nanai trails after Baxter, following him with curiosity. "What do you see?.." Baxter continued to walk towards the object. Rustling could be heard and when they got a closer look of it, it was nothing they thought it was.

Baxter sighed a bit and sat down "this is like a needle in a haystack!"

"I couldn't agree anymore with you." She looked in the direction where Baxter was heading for before. Then there was some screeching. "Huh...? What the hell was that?…"

Baxter got up immediately. "Im not sure but we shall find out" he starts running to where the screech grew louder

"Baxter, wait! We don't know what's out there-!" Another loud screeching noise emitted from the earth. A creature rose from the ground. It was gray, slimy and looked like it had thousands of teeth. "Oh sh-"

Baxter stopped and stared at it

A snarl emitted from the back of her throat. Her hackles rose but she knew she had no chance with this beast. She scampered off and had called Baxter to go along.
There was nothing good that was going to come out of this.

He backed away slowly then followed nanai
