@mewsea so I'll tag you here on this and I actually remembered the A xD,,,but anyways. Ok the definite thing that stressed me out was seeing blatant ho.mophobia on here a little while back? I know it's the internet and it's insignificant, for the most part, but it made me uncomfortable as a LGBT person myself (I'm Bi, and nonbinary,,) especially some people saying they're going to he.ll for being LGBT. It really reminded me of some memories I had in school of people being hostile to me for being LGBT. I know it wasn't directed at me but seeing it really made me sad? Ig?

I remember seeing stuff like that around here, yeah. And you have every right to be upset and/or uncomfortable about it. I feel like most of the people who were calling it a sin were just kids anyway, and their viewpoint would likely change in the future. Although a part of me was still disappointed in myself for not stepping in and trying to persuade them otherwise. There's still much kids - and even adults - don't know about the bible. They don't realize it can be interpreted in many different ways and that it's constantly undoergoing revisions. What was a sin decades ago is no longer the case in modern society. For example: it is a sin to wear clothes woven from two different materials. Such is no longer the case nowadays, otherwise that would be really ridiculous.

But...yeah. I'm sorry you had to see stuff like that, and I'm sorry you were treated badly in school for being LGBT. I'm demisex.ual and supportive of everyone in the LGBT community, so you can feel safe around me. :)

@mewsea oh yeah I definitely understand that a lot of them are kids and they can definitely change from that view of it.
I just hope that even if they don't understand it, they can learn that it's a harmless thing. (With the exception of people who think m.ap pride belongs in the community that is harmful and should be seen as bad)
Me and my grandma have constant discussions about the bible and the interpretations of it. Which I had not heard of the two separate types of cloth clothing thing?? (I am not generally a very religious person) so that's new to me?
Wow that certainly something that's outdated.
I realize though that time is more progressive and people can be unsure and sometimes afraid of things they don't understand, especially younger people and children. But thank you for letting me kinda vent to you about it. :'0

What is...map pride? *looks it up* Oh no, that is NOT okay. What is wrong with people?

I'm not very religious either, but it's something I've seen thrown around a lot by multiple reliable sources, so I figure it must be true. I've seen Christians try to weasel their way out it, saying that it's only a sin you wear linen and wool, but the bible clearly states "two different materials" which could imply fabric of any kind. Though, I have to admit, I would have to read the bible myself to be absolutely certain. But, even if it isn't true, there's plenty more arguments I could come up with.

And yeah, you're welcome. Anytime you wanna talk or vent, just let me know. I'd be happy to listen.
