@Spark Almost Cherry Blossoms; they're called Dogwoods, and they look pretty similar.

I guess the shading is part of the "style" (if you can call this style). Iggy is smooth because his skin is smooth and he's a cartoon character. But the bushes and trees have a bit of texture to them because they have leaves and stuff. It's kind of like cartoons: the environment usually has texture while the characters don't.
