I didn't know what could be possibly wrong with me. /What's wrong with me?/ my thoughts echoed through my mind, causing my mind to ache. What exactly was wrong with me? I pinched the bridge of my nose and exhaled out a deep, pent in breath. I felt my diaphram contract, and I looked up at the tree canopy. What was wrong? Wrong with what? With me. Pushing myself off of the tree trunk I was leaning my full weight against, I looked around, my vision dialating. I knew what was wrong with me. I jumped, pushing my toes off of the branch I once stood onto and onto the one across from it, slightly dusting off my jeans. I knew what was wrong with me, I was just afraid to admit it. I lept to the next branch, the wind fondling my hair, and brushing against my cheeks like a gentle caress. Why was I afraid to admit it? Well, that there friend is what I was unsure about. I raked my bangs from my face, guiding my palms to the nape of my neck, playing with the short hair that rested there. (Continued)
But, you know what I know EVERYONE fears? The unknown. They don't know what they could be up against, and it frightens them not to know. Standing on the branch I stood on, with sturdy balance, I began to relax, and close my eyes. I trailed my hand down from my neck, resting my palm above my collarbone, just listening to the breeze ruffle the trees around me. What was wrong with me was this stupid illness holding me back. Holding me back from what I could learn, what I could know. It held me back from venturing into the unknown. Insensitivity to pain. I couldn't feel it. Not a bit. I could have my damn arm chopped off and just watch it slowly bleed out without a worry in the world. Suddenly, I picked up an unfamiliar scent. My pupils dialated, and due to instinct, I backed deep into the shadows, and threw my hoodover my head, over casting my face from view.
[Oh uh thanks man. But its not really about who's the best writer. Besides, you're a great writer dude. No hesitation needed. It may have been a year or so since I last read your work but I remember it being great.]
[I dunno, yeah, probably some kind of forest. It could be whatever you like, I don't mind. But I have to go now, I'll be up in about seven hours from now to comment again. Maybe eight. Not sure. But about seven to nine hours. But I seriosly have to go now, goodnight Mitchell.]
[Good morning Mitchel ^_^ I'm gonna have to comment later because my internet is screwing up and everything. Sorry about that. I also decided Devon /will/ have a pokemon form. I'll probably draw it today when I get time.]
I had to cover my nose and mouth from coughing too loudly. The smell of the smoke was putrid, and I gagged softly. Luckily the retching sound was muffled by my thin hand clamped over the lower part of my face. I inched quietly forward on the branch, carefully lowering my hood, and switching out my hand over my face with my scarf. Inhaling the smells of the yarn over my nose, I watched the figure below me put the foreign object to his lips, inhale, and pull it out again, just to exhale out some of the smoke. What was wrong with them? The thought of putting smoke into my body made my stomach twist. That could kill me. Was this person flirting with death? My brow furrowed, along with my face scrunching up. I pushed my bangs on the left side of my face out of my eye, only to have a few strands fall back over it. My eyes widened again, as the figure had inhaled more smoke. My eyes watered at the smell. How could they do this? I watched the shady figure with caution. The sudden (Continued)
urge to attack this person rose in my throat. Who did they think they where? I tested my luck and decided to peek out from my hidden haven, and watch the person below me. But then, a sudden thought hit me. Was that a man, or a woman? The muscles built up on their arms gave a male look, but the long hair stood out and screamed female at me. I couldn't see their face, and it was too risky to try. I crouched down on my branch, trying to look smaller, balancing my hands on the branch, entwined between my feet. Who was this figure? Curiousity flooded my mind, my eyes wide and alert, unblinking. I decided to hang from the branch. I switched my hands around with my feet, my legs hooking around the branch. I let my body swing down, and I let myself hang upside down, my bangs falling from my face, and I was faced with the smoking figure. I studied his features for a moment, blood rushing to my forehead. Male, the features on the face where male. Then, without thinking, I let a word (Continued)
escape my lips. I blinked, and I had said, "Hey." I had forgotten what my voice sounded like. There was no need to use it when you where alobe. It sounded deep, emotionless, and stotic. But it was deep, strong, like stone.
He sounded confused, and wondering. I focused my vision on the cylinder between his fingers. "What do you think you're doing..?" my voice was hollow, and I looked back up into the boy's eyes. They where both different colors. One was yellow, another ice blue. I blinked my own, envying their color. "With, with.." I continued, looking away from his face, and back to the small object. "T-that smoke weapon." I named it. I gave the object a hard, concered look. Could it hear into our conversation? Could it be used other than damaging your insides?
I continued to stare at him. Who did he think he was? "That could kill you." I pointed out sharply, ignoring his last asked question. I eyed the cigarette with confined intrest, mixed with an expression of anger. "Are you asking for a death wis-?" before I could finish, my upside down posture had slipped. My right leg filling with pins and needles, I slipped off the brach, falling. I fell on my side, but without a small groan or even a "Umph!" I staggered upward, duating my pants off, and coughed slightly. "The smoke is worse down here." I waved my hand in front of my face. mumbling cusses. "Are you asking for a death wish?" I asked again, giving the boy a strange look.
I didn't know who that was. I didn't really care. "So, if you want to die, fine with me." I stated. "Don't even know who you are anyway.. Not like it'll matter after you jam pack your lungs full of polluted air." I mumbled under my breath. I turned to walk away, hiking my blood red scarf over my nose, and closing my eyes. "If you're going to.. release your poisionous gases around here, maybe go to the city and do it." I turned around, facing the boy, looking at him over my shoulder. Narrowing my turquoise irises, I added, "At least the people there don't give a damn about each other.." I looked away, and whispered, "Selfish beings." at the bottom of my voice. I started walking away now, towards the area with the most trees. I haven't left this forest since I was small. I was raised here, and I decided to stay here for the rest of my life. Devoted to staying out of sight, devoted to staying out of people's way. As you can see, I just broke that rule for the first time in my life.
"Thank you." I said, letting out a tense sigh. I started bolting towards the trees, my scarf trailing behind my body. My sides ached, but getting away from anymore interaction with people was my number one priority. As I disappeared into the trees, I dodged trees heading my way, leaping over fallen ones and puddles from the recent downpour. I kept my scarf above my nose, my bright eyes watering at the speed I raced at. The green qnd brown leaves raced by my vision in one giant blur of forest and plants. The spaces between the leaves exposed the bright blue sky, and those spaces and sections caught my eyes leaving bright spots in front of my vision if i stared at them for too long. I felt tiny twigs touch the sides of my arms, but only for a brief moment, since I was running.
I felt the world around me slow, and I stopped running, my boots skidding to a hault, my legs nearly buckling underneath the sudden stop. I raked my white bangs from my face again, and blinked at the sight in front of me. A pond stretched across my horizion, and i cautiously walked towards it, kneeling near the edge of it. I looked at my own reflection, seeing mh bangs fall in front of my bright eye again, and I frowned at my mirrored image. I was pretty dirty. I clutched my sleeve and wiped some of the smudge from the bridge of my nose, and looked away from the pond, startled by a quiet noise. A twig cracking. I let my sleeve fall from my face, the dirt smudge left unhandled, and probably worse off than it was before. Standing up on my feet, I scanned the horizion, and spotted a bird. A baby one. Alone. My eyes widened a bit. Something wasn't right. I watched the tiny bird peep, trying to flutter away. That twig snap couldn't be made by a tiny bird. I suddenly spotted (Continued)
movement from the bush beside the little bird. Before I could do anything to help, a middle aged fox had pounced onto it, in a flurry of feathers. I winced, and watched as it devoured its prey. Turning away from the tiny scene, I started towards the trees. It was getting late, it was a good idea to find a plce to sleep before it gets dark.
I let out a small sigh, watching the sunset colors paint the sky in bright hues. I stopped walking, and looked upwards, looking up at a tree planted in front of me. Maybe this could work. I turned around towards my backpack resting around my chest. I turned it around, unbutoning the clasp and digging around inside until I found my rope. I pulled it out, and at the end layed a small hook. Securing my backpack back onto my back, I swung the hook above my head, watching it secure onto a sturdy branch above me. I started inching my way up the rope (with difficulty, sadly I can't climb that well..) and making it up to a great enough height to avoid any of the dangers below. I reached the branch above the one I had secured the rope to, and I started pulling it up, and I stuffed it back in my backpack. I dropped my scarf from my face, breathing in a long gasp of clean air, and closing my eyes. Maybe I could actually sleep tonight, unlike most, where I absolutely cannot sleep at all.
I leaned the back of my head against the trunk of the tree. The boy seemed so familiar. I couldn't see how, that was one of the first people I've ever seen in my lifetime. I let my hand trail to my hair, balling it up in my fists, not feeling the usual tight tug on the scalp people are supposed to be. I lowered my head again, looking at my palm, and clenching in into a fist. I couldn't get him out of my mind, why couldn't I? I unclenched my fingers, brushing them under my bangs, and pulling it back revealing a large scar slasged across my cheek, as well as between my eyelid and eyebrow. The eye I had lifted into view remained closed, and Imlet out a tight sigh. Looking above me, my left eye inched open, while my other stayed wide, sparkling. I trailed the sky for stars, and smiled quietly as I found my favorite on. It was located in Orion's belt, it was the middle star. I smiled slightly, the most I've smiled in a while. I remembered what my friends had said, about the (Continued)
"They're watching over you." "R-really..?" "Well of course, what else do you think they do on their spare time?" I giggled, and let my small, child fingers curl over glossy grey fur. "You may choose one if you wish." My tiny head had shot up at that statement. "C-choose one..? How do you do that?" "Just.." I heard the animal's voice falter, and I frowned at the beast curled underneath me. "P-Pam?" I watched her yellow eyes gaze over the blue sky, and shake her head. "Just.. choose your favorite, then name it." My little eyes shot up into the darkened sky, my expression lit up by the moon. I remembered the constellations Pam had told me about, and located, "Orion, the Hunter", and pointed up into the sky. "Orion's Belt! The star in the middle!" I giggled, and looked down at Pam's face, seeing a slight smile graze her expression. "And what will you name it?" she asked in a hushed tone. "Hm.. Well.. There are three stars in Orion's belt, right?" I watched Pam for a (Continued)
reaction, seeing the grey wolf toss her head up and down in a nod. "And.. another word for three.. Is a Trinity, right?" "That's right." Pam said, cocking her head. "What are you suggesting?" "Mhm.." I looked down at my hands intwinded in her fur. "I'm going to name the star Trinity!" "That's a lovely name.. And, you know what's even more facinating about the stars?" "What's that?" I asked, my expression lighting up. How could this possibly get cooler? I had my own star! "I heard from one of my packmates.." Pam looked around, and then looked back at me, a serious expression in her features. "I heard, the stars are the fallen, the ones who died, and went up to the sky as angels." My smile widened. "So Trinity i-is.. A fallen angel?" I asked, my hands dropping from the back of the wolf's. "Nearly." Pam said, a glint of wiseness in her eyes. My smile faded. Nearly? "Well, I heard, that some of the wolves think the star you're really connected to.. the one you share a bond (Continued)
with," my heart hammered in my chest. What was it? "-they say you're the reincarnated forms of them." "Reincarnated? What's thatmean?" I asked, my face scrunching up. "So.. I reincarnationed.. er, whatever you said, you said that I did that was Trinity?" "Perhaps.." Pam said, a sly grin etching her wolfish grin. "Cool!" I shouted, throwing my hands up in the air. Reincarnating sounds fun! I wonder what it means..
Oh, I knew what it was now. I looked up at the sky, locating Trinity sparkling in the sky. I chuckled lightly, my hair falling behind my eye again, shaking my head. I was so stupid as a child.. I thought life was a game.
I had suddenly jumped at the voice, nearly falling out of the tree. Grabbing both sides of the branch with my hands, I felt my hearbeat in my ears, rumbling in my brain. I heaved, looking below me, and for the second time again, saw the boy leaning against the base of the trunk. "Y-you again..?!" I asked, my deep voice cracking. "Someone ever teach you to NOT walk up to someone and scare the living sh.it out of them?" I added, my calm aura coming back. My face relaxed into its regular plain expression, my hair tickling the tip of my nose.
"What was your question?" I asked, my tone sounding bored. I hadn't caught it all, nearly having a heartattck from being ripped away from my peaceful thoughts and daydreams. What could he possibly want from me? I don't even know his name. I didn't know who he was. He didn't know me either. Why bother? I'm just a person, just wandering the forest.
My visible eye widened. Trinity? My head immediatly shot towards the sky, to the stars, to see her. How would I answer that? I looked back down to the ground, meeting his eyes. "Possibly." I said. my voice barely over a whisper. I turnedaway for a moment, collecting my backpack from behind me, slinging it over my shoulder, and carefully climbingndown from the tree I was in, hopping to the ground, and facing the boy once more. I looked at the sky again, my visible eye wandering the sky, frowning. How would I answer to that? I bit my inner lip, a bad habit of mine. "Maybe.. I-I might know her." I said again, my voice firmer, more sure of myself.
"I.." my expression faltered, and I looked at him, his expression grim. Was this the same Trinity we where talking about? I gulped. What had I gotten myself into. "I'm.. N-not sure." I said quietly, my eyes going downcast. Memories of Pam flashed through my head, and I tried to reach into the depths of my plain memory to find an answer.
"The pack says many things about star bonds." Pam said, her voice wise and crisp, years weighing on her like lead. "What other things did they say? Did they say anything about Trinity?" I asked. This memory was days later, in the bright of dawn. I remember my small toes walking across the dirt and grass, and my grubby tiny fingers occasionally curling over beetles to watch them crawl over my fingers for a bit, until setting them down again. I shot a glance towards Pam, her muscles rippling underneath her glossy fur. "Remember those scars you where born with?" Pam asked. I bent down, setting the tiny beetle I was holding into the dirt, (Continued)
and looked into the wolf's eyes, scrunching up my face. Since I was a child, I didn't notice them much, it was just darker blothes of skin for me at the age of nine. "Uhm.. yeah, why?" I replied, relaxing my features into an innocent gleam. "They say those where tattoos from them." "Tattoos..? What are those?" Pam laughed at my question, tossing her head to swat off bugs. "Pictures drawn onto their skin."I gasped quietly, reaching my palm to my cheek and my eyelid, tracing over my scar. "So... Trinity had tattoos of.. blobs on her face? And her arm?" I asked, frowning, looking at my sleeved left shoulder, as if I could see the patch of skin there as well. "No, no, of course not, that would be foolish. And I'm sure Trinity was smart enough not to get drunk enough to do that." "Drunk? What's-" "That's a story for another tiny, young one." Pam said, smiling faintly, almost sadly.
I shook my head, my short hair tossing around. I gripped one arm to my shoulder, rubbing over (Continued)
my scar. "I don't know. I-I'm sorry." I hung my head, and sighed out. "So, y-you knew her? T-Trinity that is.." I mumbled. "I-I didn't know her well at all, a-actually.." I laughed nervously, as if it almost came out forced. I didn't know what to do. It was just a children's wolf tale after all. Why would I cling to it so suddenly and believe it, as if it was guiding me?
"Can You Feel the Heart" by Bring me to the Horizion
I don't think he saw. He didn't see what angle I was looking at this situation through. But I probably couldn't see which way he was looking at it either. Going silent, I looked up at the sky again. /What was wrong with me?/ I thought for the third time again. "Darius, r-right?" I asked suddenly, looking down from the stars again, and looked at the taller male. How had I suddenly asked that? I strung my finger through my hair nervously, and shook my head. "Sorry I asked, I just want to know.." Was I trying to befriend this person? I've never had a friend.. Darius had mentioned having friends quite a few times. I was still thinking about Pam, when suddenly a vivid flasback had come to mind.
"Listen to me, you stupid girl!" my eyes where flooded with tears, brimming to the edge. Around age thirteen, I gripped the side of Pam's jaw, trying to keep her eyes conracted on my own. Pam had suddenly lashed out on me, and I (Continued)
was trying to keep her from attacking me. "You have to run! It isn't safe! I'm not to worry about!" Pam's teeth where bared, her strong voice echoing through my head. "I'm not leaving you!" I stated, and tears streamed down my cheek. I heard footsteps and gun shots ahead of us, boots cracking twigs noisily. I heard distant rumbles of macines, vehicles, and trees falling to the ground. "Run, before I have to make you!" Pam growled, her pupils dialating. My grip just tightened around her neck, and my other hand cramped around her muzzle. "I-I'm not leaving-!" I heard Pam suddenly whine, and I looked up, seeing a man, a solider even, dressed in a uniform, holding up a gun, the tip smoking. We both froze, my heart racing like an engine. I felt Pam go limp in my arms, and my throat bobbed, gulping my saliva. They shot her. I looked down for a fraction of a moment to see Pam have a large bullet wound nestled, and bleeding into her side. Red blood streaked her fur, and my eyes (Continued)
traveled to her own, and I saw none of the familiar light shining onto them. Her eyes where dark. /I'm not to worry about..!/ her voice echoed clearly through my head. I looked up at the solider again, and stood up shakily. And guess what I did? I ran. Like a fu.cking coward. I scrambled away from Pam's bleeding body, my backpack bouncing on my back. I heard bullets hit the trees besude me, but never onto my limbs or body. I sprinted into the darkness, and I hadn't seen Pam, or her body since. And I named the first star of Orion's Belt Pam, for her honor.
I looked away from the boy, looking off into the distance. If I was trying to befriend this person, I had already screwed it up. My eye dropped, and I looked back to him, my expression unreadible. I wanted to walk away, I wanted to run. It was what I'v always done. But I've ran enough. It's time for me to fight for once.
Trinity had a brother? I looked upward, at Darius, and echoed my thoughts, but I made myself sound knowing, certain. More than I actually was. "Trinity had a brother, then. Daniel.." The random name came to me suddenly, like running smack dab into a brick wall. I pinched the hem of my scarf outmof anxiety, running my fingers through my snow white hair. The idea of finding Trinity's brother excited me, but maybe it wasn't such a good idea to come along. Maybe this was his own mess he needed to fix. But a terrible idea entered my mind. /What if Daniel was already dead, like her?/ This made me shiver, and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. "I want to come." I suddenly said. The moments the words trailed out of my mouth I wanted to smack myself. I litterally just said that I wanted to leave him alone, now I'm traveling with him?
[Yeah, Trin is dead. I don't use her as a character anymore, but yes, Trinity is "dead".. Haha, maybe.
And in a way, yes, I have watched FMA. Sadly, though, I never got interested in the Brotherhood series, so I never watched the Brotherhood. But, I did watch all of the episodes plus the ending movie of the original FMA and holy sh.it I loved it. I actually originally got Devon's arm and power idea from Scar. See, I was going to make Devon's opposite eye and arm Trinity's, almost like they where transmuted onto her. That's why instead of a scar on her arm, like Pam had told Devon when she was young, Devon actually has Trinity's right arm, which also shows her arm tattoo she used to have.]
I frowned. "But it's turning dark.. You're alright with walking in complete darkness?" I asked. I was a bit surprised that Darius had actually let me follow him. I didn't think he'd let me.
[Yeesh, I hadn't thought of that. Keep that tattoo covered Devon. Also, I may start watching Brotherhood soon, I'm not sure though. With school starting tomorrow [I've been on Spring Break] and I'm trying to finish another anime series, I don't know if I'll start it. I might though.]
He seemed.. Fine with me coming along. My eyes widened, then went downcast, my surprised expression turning grim. "F-fine." I said, trying to sound not so dependant as I seemed. Maybe following him could be a new adventure. Perhaps my life becoming a bit more exciting from its dull expanse of the past couple of years?
"H-hungry..? Oh, uh sure." I studdered, and watched Darius riffle through his supplies in search to get food. My gaze drifted to the tiny fire set in the middle of the camp, my face and hair glowing orange from its reflection. The fire gave me a sense of security, but also scared me a bit. I didn't know why it did, but my instincts told me to stay far, far away from it.
My eyes immediatly shot down to my hands, holding them up to my face. He was right, one was a more tan color, and the other was the insanely pale color of the rest of my body. "I dunno.. I was born with it." I replied hollowly, shrugging my shoulders slightly. I looked down at the soda and the sandwhich I had set onto my lap briefly, and looked at them in confusion. "What.. what exactly are these..?" I asked, raising the cylindrical metal can to my face, and sniffed it cautiously, and recoiled. How did I eat this? How did /he/ eat this? I looked up at Darius again, frowning slightly, silently pleading for help. "S-sorry.. I probably sound like an idiot.." I murmered, my face heating up in embarrassment, shaking my head.
I looked down at the can I gripped between my entwined fingers, and blinked up at Darius. "A-ah.." I bit my bottom lip slightly, and nodded briefly. "I-it's on my shouler, i-its funny, I don't really remember how it got there." I stated, and smiled faintly, and held the soda up to my lips, and immediatly winced as I felt the bubbles linger in my mouth, and slide down my throat as if it was poking my tounge and neck with little needles."Its actually on my weird arm." I said, looking down at my discolored arm, frowning. I scratched underneath my bangs where the other patch of darker skin equal to my dark arm lay, and thought fornone of the first times in my life, /How had those possibly gotten there?/
[Actually, speaking of school, after I finish this year I'm moving to a different school. oAo' I'm moving like two or three states away from where I originally was and I'm actually really nervous. But I'll probably be fine in the end.]
Darius was right, by scanning his face and arm that where covered in beautiful ink patterns. But as he asked me to show mine, I hesitated as I went to lift my jacket from my shoulder. Where these things to show off and compare? Doubting my instincts, I slowly inched it off my discolored shoulder. Faint freckles dotted the tanner shade, the area beneath the tank top strap was easily identified as a different color. Then, bringing the jacket down from my arm, and restimg it at my wrist, the tattoo was shown. It started near the freckles ended, at the curve of the shoulder, and ended a few mere inches above the crease behind my elbow. It started with three lines trailing into a void-ish looking circle, which drowned into a few lines dancing and swirling around another, ending as an arrow pointing downwards. Two pairs of wings seemed to erupt from the midsection of the lines and the circle void, each fading into the skin as they trailed the ink. I looked up, a bit scared of his reaction.
[I just wanted to apologize on how immature I was acting a year or so ago on Colors!. I was given way too much freedom at a young age, and I was very selfish. Now that I reflect back on it, most of what I said probably made no sense, and I feel like all my efforts I had done and made the past year or two is just gone. I also wanted to apologize on putting so much pressure on you a few months ago. When I got all angry and everything.. You don't deserve that. I just wanted to say I'm immensly sorry for all that I had done, and I just wanted to start fresh again. But I'm also afraid I'm still acting like that.. What I acted like when I was 11-12, and I'm afraid everyone really doesn't like me, and just talks to me to make me feel better about myself. So uh.. If I'm doing anything wrong, could youmbe honest and tell me? Thanks..]
[Ah, sorry I fell asleep. I woke up with my DS under my as.s XD
But its weird, I thought I was the one that was beeing the a.sshole and you where the one stating your opinion? I don't know, either way, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one thinking aboutbthat. Its bothered me for a while, and I've been wanting to say something but I didn't know when the right time was.]
[And yeah, of course I'll give you another chancd nun. It again, wasn't your fault (in my oinion) but I feel like we're both putting the blame on ourselves and are trying to make each other feel better ;w; But yeah, of course.]
I gave the boy a confused look. How what? "Is there.. Something wrong..?" I asked quickly, wanting to tuug the sleeve back over my arm. I knew I would get embarrassed like this. I felt my face heat up. There was definetly something wrong with me. More than one. My hands started trembling on the place I pinched the hem of the collar between my fingers, gulping to try and keep my mouth from drying out. "There is something wrong, isn't there?" I confirmed.
"Excuse me?" I stated, looking down at his hand on my own. /Trinity's?/ "But.. That can't be possible.." I murmered, looking upward at Darius, a scared look crossing my face. Did he know something I didn't? Or was he as clueless as myself?
"I-I already said, I don't know..!" I stated roughly, my eyebrows furrowing. "T-Trinity is dead..!" But then, it got me wondering. /What if she isn't?/ My heart raced. What if I had accidently lied to Darius, not knowing what I was saying? "I-I'm not sure anymore.." I whispered, dropping my arm from the coat, and wiggling Trinity's arm from the rest of the sleeve.
[I gotta go to school now, Mitchell, but I may be able to talk to you from there on someone's phone or the computers or something. I'll talk to you soon, have a nice day dude nun/]
I tensed up as I felt his arms hang around me. "What are you doing..?" I asked, my hands at my sides, and I blinked lightly. Is this some kind of communication that I didn't know about?
[I keep forgetting that you're not on your DS! I'm sorry DX]
I didn't quite know what soup was, but whatever it is, it sounds pretty damn important. I watched Darius scuttle to the pot hanging over the fire, and my gaze locked onto the fire again, my eyes narrowing. Something about it put me on edge, I just didn't know what.
I curled my fingers around the bowl, and I looked down at it. I was surprised I trusted this induvidual so quickly, and I looked up at Darius. "You drink this top, r-right?" I asked cautiously, looking down at the steaming bowl in my hands. Instead of feeling the hot, stinging sensation, I felt numb, and I bit my botton lip again, watching the steam rise
[I was able to get onto the computer in my computer lab uwu I was trying to send you a message this morning but it wouldn't connect to the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if my mom or dad cleaned up the computer room and accidentally hit a wire to knock out the wifi. Anyways, how are you? I'm sorry I didn't get to talk last night, I fell asleep waaaaaaay early. o_o' Sorry about that.
I looked down at the spoon sitting between my fingers, then back at the soup. "But it's.. It's a liquid." She said, and looked at the soda can on the ground. "That is too. You drink it, right?" I sighed, and ran my fingers through my hair. All this stuff was confusing me, Trinity being dead, then possibly alive, then all this food I never had any idea about. I lived on plants and prey. I dipped the spoon into the steaming soup and brought it to my lips., and slipped down the back of my throat. It warmed my goose bumped arms, and I smiled faintly. "Devon.. My name is Devon." I smiled up at Darius. "T-thanks for the food.. I uh, it was interesting."
[Hey uhm, you on? I just checked your friendcode message thing, and it says something about dinner. You're probably eating. Anyways, I may be able to be on for a few hours, so yeah! nun]
[Ah, it was fine. I forgot to do homework, stressing over grades, my parents are probably going to kill me.. The usual XD The realiter came while I was at school, and I heard houses like mine get bought in about thirty days. Yay.. (sarcasm). So, how was your day?]
I had finished the still burning hot soup in a few mere minutes, and set down the bowl, sighing, and looking upward at the sky again. I stared quietly at Pam and Trinity, until I heard something rustle. I could've discarded it as the wind easily, it was tiny, and overlookable. But it was as if the atmosphere had suddenly dramatically chqnged. Tension rose in the air. All the energy made me stiffen, and go silent. "Something's wrong." I stated, scanning the tree shadows for something, anything out of the ordinary.
I lept up before I could do anything else, the soup bowl being kicked aside by my upturned boot, and I immediatly ran over to Darius's side, kneeling down beside him.I didn't know if he was alive, I didn't know if he was dead. I cupped his cheek in my palm and turned his blood smeared face over to check the wound. I really, really hoped he had somw type of insane healing abilities. Standing up again, I looked in the direction in which the gunshot was heard. The words, "Target down..." where barely audible in my blood pulsing ears, and my expression grim. I clenched my bloodstained fingers into fists, and I let the blood, /his/ blood dig underneath my fingernails. I wasn't running this time. I started bolting at the direction of the gunshot at lightning speed, the shapes of masks becoming visible, woven between the shadows and trunks of the night trees. No, I was running. I just wasn't running /away/. I was running towards the problem. Running towards the unknown.
"Who fired?!" I screamed, anger and rage trembling my voice as did my fists clenched at my sides. I had no intention on hurting anyone but the one who had fired, but if I had to kill every last one of them to find out, I would. It was strange, like a beast curling and clawing my stomach apart, like warm blood seeped through my body. I cared deeply for that induvidual, like I had known them before. Years, and years, I had felt like I had known him. He was from /somewhere/. I just couldn't find where. "A-answer me!" I stated louder, my voice cracking at such a high octave.
[Thanks. I just got really frusterated typing a long comment then it got deleted five fu.cking times. Then I just get impatient at writing the commentsand try to get it in without my internet shutting down 'n stuff. But I think I figured out how.]
I already didn't like this guy. His tone was taunting. He acted sly. Cocky, even. I didn't need that. I really didn't. I looked onto the ground, one of the masked figure's blood trailed to the tip of my boot, and I took a step away from it, only bad memories of Pam scorching my mind. "Why did it concern me?" I repeated, nearly smirking in the act. This guy suddenly seemed pathetic. Killing his own soliders at what cost? "Why does it leave a question in your mind whynit conceens me?" I stated back, tumbling over my own words so fast that it took my mind a few seconds to realize what just spewed out of my lips.
"No, no I'm not. You way too pathetic to actually fight." I spat, raising the scarf from my lips once more, letting them settle onto my neck. "I hope I wasted enough of your god damn time for you to be late for whatever you where fu.cking planning after this bloody massacre." I turned on my heel, starting to walk off. "You probably are, and I hope you're happy with what you've done. I can't wait for this inccident to come back and bite you in the a.ss so hard you can't sit for a week." After ranting, I turned my head sharply, turning briskly and running back to camp. I silently prayed that Darius would be standing up and waiting for me to get back, just about to say all of it was a big prank or some trust exercise to get to knowme better or more.
I stepped through the same bushes that I seemed to have bashed throughin a fit of rage momenrs before. I re-entered the camp with mixed feeling, and was afraid to look around. I didn't want to see his body lying there. I didn't at all.
At first, I looked at Darius in disbelief, then faintly shook my head. This boy was impossible. He was shot in the /head/. "D-did you know them..? Those people who shot you." I eyed the place where the bullet entered his head, and bit my bottom lip. "They seemed to be.. Tracking you down." This made me nervous. Why would anyone have a reason to track and /kill/ him?
I tilted my head. "Do...BT?" I asked, looking throughly confused. I've never heard of them before. "Old department?" I frowned. This sounded all gibberish to me.
((Sh.it, I'm super sorry I've been gone and off of Colors! for a bit. My colors! haven't been working at all, so I haven't been able to get on. But I'm on for a bit now, I got a sub for this period and he's super nice, so I get to come on here every so often to check uwu' I'll reply, hold on..))
All of the words seem to jumble up in my head, only the names "Alice" and "Hiromi" sticking inside, as well as a few key words. "A-a terrorist group..?" I asked, then closing my eyes. So many things had happened today, it was a lot to take in.
"O-oh, yeah.. That's kind of hard to remember after coming back from the dead.. Isn't it?" I asked slowly, still marveling at the thought of regeneration. "i'm not sure were we where either.. let's just start fresh, I guess." I breathed, slightly walking over to the place in front of the fire where I sat last, settling down.
I stared at the fire intensly, my visible eye wide. I wondered why it seemed to frighten me a bit. Fire had always put me on edge , I just wasn't always sure why. I blinked away from it, and gulped nervously. I looked down at the empty soup bowl upside down on the ground, and I turned it over gently, laying it back on the right side. "Hey uhm.." I broke the silence, my voice a bit raspy. "Why did you.. I-I dunno.. Even trust me?" I started, looking back up into his eyes, and scanning his face. He had the saddest eyes I've ever seen, like he had seen hell itself backwards and forwards. "You gave me food.. I-I didn't think that I could even be trusted after a conversation or two."
[If you come online sometime, could you do a small favor maybe? I found this thing called Skype, I'm not sure if you have it or know it, but I'm going to make one after I get done with my classes. It's an easier way to talk to one another. I don't know if you want to try and get it if you haven't had it already.. But I thought it would be a good idea. uwu. I hope you're having a good day, Mitchell.]
"S-so.. Just the fact I remind you of someone you decide to let me in your little camp?" I snapped, still looking at the fire. My cheeks where aglow with orange flames reflecting off of my clothing. "I could've killed and raided you.. You need to be careful." I blinked away from the fire, and looked up at the stars again. "This world is cruel. Not everything is going to be able to be trusted just because the spark a memory.. The evilest things can lie behind the prettiest faces. Y-you need to be careful.. Like I said before." I recited. I picked at my nails with my fingers, remaining silent, waiting. Waiting for some kind of response.
I raised a brow at his arm. "That's gotta be a nice story to tell." I said, and cleared my throat, looking at the fire again. I propped my own arm on my upturned knee, and bowed my head, smiling to myself. "Was it ripped off? Cut? Maybe burned.." I looked back at him, with a hazy look in my eyes. "That friend I remind you of.. It's Trinity, isn't it?" I asked, gulping, and playing with my hair between my fingers. "She was a close friend.. I bet."
[Wow I'm answering really late.. But yeah, I'm tired as well. All this moving business has me really stressed out agh.. Ah, also , I think it's your turn to reply uwu. I think I commented online, sorry about that >n<. Also, did you look up that Skype thing? Sorry if I'm nagging, I'd just get really excited if you got it XD]
I nodded, seeing Darius wanted to get away from the topic. At least I think he did. "Okay.." I stood up from the fire. I wanted to touch it, for some reason. It was bright, and glowing. I hadn't seen fire since I was a child, nearly burning my arm off for sticking them into the embers. The reminder of my disease hit me square in the face. I shook away my thoughts, and hiked my backpack up my shoulder farther. I walked over to a tree farther away from the fire, and leaned on my backpack for support. I curled my knees up to my chest, and exhaled deeply. "Goodnight." I said plainly, and I blinked. "Thank you.. Again." I repeated, and leaned my head against my knees, and relaxing my shoulders.
I had awoken suddenly, unlike most days where I have to take five minutes to actually function. Maybe it was because a lingering nightmare had crossed my mind. I sat up from where I leaned against the tree, and I stiffled a small yawn, covering it with my sleeve.
I rubbed my eyes with a balled fist, and sulkily got up from where I lay. "Mornin'." I said sleepily. I had grabbed my backpack from where it was sitting beneath me, and I had walked over,. I slowed down to a halt as I had gotten closer. "What's.. What's that?" I asked, almost curiously, pointing to the picture he was holding.
[Poor Darius.. ;n; *strokes his shoulder awkwardly* It will be alright my friend.]
"Oh.." I bit my bottom lip. I wanted to say sorry, something to somehow comfort him, but I couldn't muster up anyhting. "Well, let's get going, I guess." I said, and looked off into the distance. I wondered what Darius's backstory was. Tragic, it sounded. I hoisted my backpack strap up farther on my shoulder. I felt my face burn in embarrasment. I felt cold hearted. "To Trinity's brother we go." I breathed.
[My grandma is letting me use her computer so I get to be online for a while ouo]
I looked at the door that was slightly black. I trailed away from behind Darius, and I had touched it with my index finger. The door had creaked, just a bit. I pushed it open, and withdrawed my hand to see a thin layer of soot covering it. "It looks.. Charred.." I murmered, and stepped inside. I didn't think, nor understand that stepping inside was pretty much breaking in or tresspasing. I stepped onto a plank of wood lightly, hearing it creak. It looked like a small, cozy cabin. Or.. It once was. Everything looked like it had been burned down.. My mind flicked back to last night's campfire. I took another step in, feeling the weight shift under my left foot. "I think its empty." I stated. I took a few more steps, then I noticed, I was standing on something. I lifted my boot up, and picked up what was lying on the ground. An envelope? And it looked previously opened. I wiped off the smudge on the front, and took out the letter. It seemed oddly familiar. The top read, "Dear Darius," as the bottom said, "Sincerely, the Avalons". Where had I heard "Avalon" before? I skimmed the note. "Take care of our daughter". Was this.. Some kind of note to Darius to protect Trinity? "We put our trust in you". Did the Avalons.. Whoever they where.. Know Trinity and Darius?
[im kinda going on and off but yes hello XD and I'm going to switch this to third person now sorry.. And yes, two floors uwu ]
Devon nodded profoundly, and she set the letter down onto the table beside her. So Trinity lived here? Devon went to step into the kitchen area when she heard a small click behind her. Like a gun click. She froze, but her expression hadn't changed. "Don't move." The voice was rough. It sounded familiar. But didn't everything now-a-days sound familiar to her? Devon wasn't really up for anything like instructions, so she turned around slowly, glaring over her shoulder. A boy. He held a shot gun. But Devon saw that it was trembling between his hands. He had brown hair that hung messily in front of his face.. And powerful amber eyes. Like the eyes that- A bullet sound went off, and Devon had profoundly flinched, feeling the numb caress of the bullet grazing the side of her head, breezing her jaw length hair. "Didn't you hear what I had said?! Don't flinch!" The boy had shouted. He seemed a bit younger than Darius in age. "Yes. I did." Devon replied in a cold voice. "That doesn't make me want to listen." Devon wondered if Darius could hear what was happening. Probably. A fucking bullet had gone off, like hell he wouldn't have heard.
The boy named "Dan" had looked across to the stairs beside him to see a familiar looking face shooting another gun between his eyes. "I don't go by that name anymore.. Darius." His voice sounded questioning, though it was still stubborn sounding. Devon looked across at Darius, seeing both weapons being gripped tightly in his hands. Was he protecting her? Why would he care about her saftey? And so what if she died, it's not like he would care.. Right? "What name do you go by then?" Devon had clearly stated. The Dan boy had swiveled his vision around to face her with a cold glare. Those eyes.. His eyes looked like her own. The one shadowed under her bangs. His skin seemed about as deep as well... "And why would I tell you that?" He had questioned, his gun not lowering, but wavered. "It's none of your business, anyways." Devon stayed silent. He had a point. She probably would've done the same.
[Alright I guess.. My parents had finally sold the house, and the deal is going through this month. We've been trying to find another house to live in ourselves, and we haven't had any luck. Oh, and I'm actually not failing my math class anymore! uwu so I'm happy about that. How about you? We haven't had a talk in a while.. It's kinda been like phone tag across the internet.]
Daniel had shot a dark look at Devon. "That isn't nessacarily true." He added. Devon had clutched her sides, and leaned back against the table. She looked bored. Daniel had given up, so he dropped the gun. "Mimd lowering that for me and telling me exactly who the hell she is?" He asked. Devon had rolled her eyes. She looked like a stereotyped teenager listening to her parents give her a lecture. "Well, I wanna know who you are exactly yourself." She said slowly, giving him a glare. Daniel had only shot it back ten fold. It looked like they didn't like each other that much.
[Agh sorry I had to leave too, dinner was awaiting. :3]
Daniel had looked at Devon's arm. "Trinity.. Is real, then?" She asked, her eyes widening. "What do you mea-" Daniel was about to shoot back a nasty comment when his gun had clattered to the ground, and he had held a hand to his head. Darius probably didn't know what I was talking about. I hadn't explained exactly what I knew about Trinity. Daniel looked pained under his hand covering his face, wincing. What was he doing? Devon's mind became curious. Since she'd never really known what pain felt like, she'd never expurenced it. She was told by Pam that pain wrentched your chest and twisted your gut. "What did you do to her, y-you sick basta
-" "I didn't do a thing to her.." Devon mused, and stopped leaning against the table, walking over. Her footsteps felt fluid. She bent down and picked up Daniel's gun he had been holding, and held it in her hands. Daniel had looked up, enraged. "I've never heard of you before, Trinity told me everything." "I doubt that." Devon replied. "Everyone has something they keep from each other, no one could possibly know-" "She was my fucking sister!" He stated. His hand had fallen from his face, and he looked hysterical. Devon's eyes widened. She was real. Daniel stepped back again, and sniffed, wiping a sleeve over his face. "N-not that it matters anymore.. She's gone.."
Daniel had turned towards Darius, his rough face melting into a harsh sliver of defeat. "Fire.." He murmered. "Just like when we where kids." That must be why this place is so dusty and ashed. "Why are you still here if the fire still happened?" Devon had asked , shaking her head. "I don't take questions from strangers." Daniel answered sourly. Devon raised her lips to a snarl. "Its all my fault too.. Her death, that is." He had turned back to Darius, almost in slow motion. "I was stupid enough to leave to stove on and-" Daniel let out a loud sigh. "Next time u walked in, Trinity was burning alive before my e-eyes.." He stopped talking, covering his mouth and stiffling over. "S-she must've been trying to help and somehow made the hear flare u-up more-" So this is the place where Trinity had sied. In the kitchen. Devon had walked away from Darius and Daniel, observing the stove top. It wasn't a modern day design, it was a gas stove. It was obvious it was easily to spread flame. Devon was suddenly reminded of her sitting in front of the fire place again. Was that another connection with Trinity..? Was that why the fire had scared her? "Then.. They where inspecting the body.. And- they turned around- j-just for a second.. And then her body was gone. It had disappeared.. J-just like that." Devon turned over her shoulder to see Daniel pull out a chair from the table and sit down on it, being fragile. It must be easily broken. "Or that's what they told me at least. I have a bad feeling not to believe them but.." Daniel looked between Devon and Darius. "I-it's all I have to go by."
"Nothing.." He murmered. "Reading usually.. But I always did that a lot before-" "So, you where Trinity's sister?" Devon suddenly interrupted once more, coming back over. "I told you , I'm not answering any of your questions." Daniel replied again, in a stuck up voice. Devon started slowly rolling up her multicolored arm sleeve. "What the hell are you doing now, stripping-?!" Daniel was shouting, then stopped. "Holy.." Devon just shrugged, holding her bunches up jacket sleeve at her collarbone. "Does.. This look familiar to you, too?" She asked, sounding annoyed. "Isn't that.. Trinity's arm?" Daniel asked, sounding astonished. "As I was told." Devon replied, blinking down at the tattoo engraved onto it ever so gently. "But how is that on you-?" "I'm not sure." Devon answered, closing her turquoise eye and shaking her head numbly. "I haven't been sure of a lot of shit lately, but I'm holding up." Devon rubbed her arm softly, shivering. What if this wasn't actually her arm? I mean, it resembled the patch of skin under her hair, but she never.. "What did Trunity look like?" Devon asked suddenly. Daniel suddenly looked confused. He had thought she had known her.
Daniel suddenly leaped up, and scurried to an ashed bookshelf. Devon watched as he frantically searched the shelves, until he got to the bottom one. He slightly pushed the wall BHIND it upward to reveal a tiny compartment. "Smart." Devon whispered. Daniel then pulled out a book. Devon didn't know exactly what she was expecting. A magic crystal necklace? A tooth of a giant wizard bear? Daniel had reached up and closed the compartment. He hurriedly went back to his seat, and opened the book, looking through the pages, muttering things under his breath. "What are you doing?" Devon asked. She had a feeling Darius wouldn't. She cast a side long glance at the boy watching Trinity's brother intently. "Here!" Daniel suddenly stated. "Here what?" "It's.. Under alchemy." "What.. What is alchemy?" Devon was starting to get curious and interested. "It's supposed to be a really old practice of magik.. It's not even used anymore. If it was, it's practiced among a few." "And what exactly does this have to do with anything?" Devon said snappily, taking off her jacket and tying it around her waist. "Hold on, hold on, I'm looking.." Daniel trailed off, skimming the pages.
[Ack, I'm really sorry I fell asleep XD I had to go to sleep because I was a bunch if award ceremonies for school today.]
"That's what I was thinking.." Daniel muttered, without pulling his head up from his reading. "Attached her what to my arm?" Devon echoed, looking confused. "Trinity was burning alive, I'm not sure how exactly she could've done it though." Daniel concluded, baring his teeth. "But I didn't think Trinity had the knowledge to do such a thing." "So.. You're calling her stupid?" Devon asked, giving a tiny sarcastic smirk. "Oh no," Daniel said. "Of anything, she's a younger Thomas Edison. I was just saying that alchemy isn't even used anymore.. It was generations and generations ago that it was put into use." Devon have a tiny nod. "Here.. It looks like transmutation." Daniel said, his forefinger pointing to a definition in the book. "It's the act of changing other things into new materials, and shaping them into other objects." "Well, I don't exactly know how switching objects into other objects explains why I have a different arm." "It does, though. See, your other arm is somewhere out there, but Trinity's seems to be on your own." Daniel added. /That's a terrifying thought. So I don't even have my own arm?/ Devon thought in shock. /That must mean this isn't my face either.. Shit../ "I wouldn't be surprised if one of Trinity's stupid pet wolves dragged her body away-" "Trinity knew wolves?" Devon interrupted, looking like a bad habit of her's. "Yeah, a whole damn pack of them. We found them after we fled from the house fire. She knew them forever, they probably dragged her corpse away to tear it to pieces. I never trusted them, they seemed.. Shady.." /Wolves wouldn't do something like that... They tend to be shy creatures. What I can believe is the wolves dragging her body away and did something to her inner self.. I guess that's what that "soul" word ment./ Devon thought, nodding to herself.
"It means, if you want to find out if Trinity is still alive or not, I would say find her freaky wolves." Devon growled lightly at his statement. "They aren't "freaky" they're shy and gentle. They only get like that when you get too close.." "Alright, old woman." Daniel said snappily, rolling his eyes, and shutting the book. Devon gave a look at the thin white hair hanging in her face. "I'm not an old woman." Daniel ignored this, and handed the book to Darius. "Here. This might have a few things that help you. It's pretty much a guide to alchemy and all the old magick practices. It might come in use." /Okay, give HIM the book./ Devon thought defensivly.
Daniel gave Darius a confused, but solemn look. "Go ahead.. I'm not sure how much of it is left.. I-I didn't go up there since she burned." He said, looking down. Devon wanted to ask if she could, but she knew that the answer was no. Devon wasn't part of this family, or group of friends. She wanted to be, but was forced out by Trinity's stupid older brother. "And you're not gonna ask?" "No, because I know you'll just shit all over me anyways." Devon replied harshly, and leaned against the table again, looking down at her chewed finger nails.
There seemed to be nothing. All charred and turned to ash. What are doing doing looking through drawers anyways, Darius? Might be her underwear in there. Kinda preverted. But, there where photos hanging up around the wall. Most we're cracked and crashed onto the floor, glass melted into the floorboards. It looked like various frirnds, animals, and other objects and people where in the frames. But there seemed to be none of Darius or anyone else Trinity knew familiar to the boy. Maybe Trinity never came back from her journey to the outside world...? Then, a low vibration sounded through the floor, feeling its way around. It seemed to grow stronger under the bed..
Devon heard Darius's footsteps above the floor she stood on. She craned her neck upward to he ceiling, hearing his boots scratch the wood. Devon took this time to slip on her jacket, and glanced at Daniel. "What name do you go by if you don't use your other one anymore?" "Searcher." He replied, a bit quicker than needed, looking away. "What are you trying to do, find your love or some romance crap?" Devon taunted in an equally sarcastic voice. "No, I'm just trying to find the hope I had from when I lost it."
[Ah, aight X3 I have to go to school now, but today I get out two hours earlier, so I might be able to come on ;3; I also might be able to annoy my friends enough to use their phones to check Colors! So I also might be on then. But have a good day, Mitchell uwu]
Now, you would probably expect a cool looking sword or some magick book underneath a bed pulsing with power, but no. There, laid a small puddle of blood. And it smelt weirdly recent.
Daniel's head leaned up at the ceiling. "What's what?!" He called. Devon blinked at the place where she had heard him shout. Devon had gotten curious, and started trudging up the stairs.
"Blood..?" Daniel muttered, a confused look crossing his face. Devon had made her way up the stairs and stood in the doorway to Trinity's bedroom. She had came over to where Darius had kneeled, and had blinked at the blood under the bed. "That looks.. Fresh.." She said, eyes widening. She suddenly coughed lightly, and her eyes dialated away from the blood, her mouth slightly twitching at the sight. "H-how could have t-that possibly gotten there..?" She seemed nearly squeamish at the sight of it, and she stood back up next to the boy, stuffing her shaky hands into her pockets. She was being honest, she had no clue how that was there. "I-it had to come from something.." She murmered, and turned around in a circle, surveying the room. She heard Daniel start pounding up the stairs to meet the two in the room.
Daniel was standing in the doorway, and sfiffened, looking into the room. "What /blood/?" he asked, and walked over. Devon continued to search around the room, hands shaking when she opened the closet. "O-oh gods.." She whispered, backing up and covering her mouth. Inside, laying on the tile stained floor was a severed wing, a good amount of blood seeping from where it should've been connected to someone's back. More like /something/. The wing was huge, and black. Feathers lay around it, scattered in small heaps.
Devon turned to face the two boys. "I-I don't know anything..!" Danniel stated. Devon looked back at the wing. "T-there's a b-broken wing in the closet..!" Devon said, looking back at Daniel. Devon was frightened. "Darius.. What are you doing..?" Devon asked, looking at the gun. "P-put it away...!" But something was wrong. As much as Devon didn't want to admit it, something was off. And her instincts lead to Daniel for a strange reason.
"A-a wing..?" He asked. "I /told/ you.. I haven't been in this room since Trinity had-" Daniel stopped, and looked past Devon, stepping towards her, so he could look at the wing. "I-I don't understand how that couldve gotten there! Honestly." Devon looked at Daniel, who had walked past her to investigate. "I call bullsh.it." Devon said. "Daniel.. What's that in your pocket?" Devon glanced at something that caught her eye in the light. "What..?" Daniel looked down. "Oh.. Just-" but before Devon could react, Devon watched Daniel walk towards her swiftly and had stuck something into her. Devon looked down to see a small knife sticking into her gut, blood starting to soak in. But she couldn't feel a thing. She looked up at Daniel, catching him off guard. He didn't know that Devon didn't have some kind of disease. "See? I knew it was bullsh.it." Devon nearly pointed out sarcastically. "Look at him, what a tool." Devon let out a breath through her nose, a small laugh, and set her (Cont.)
own, sliding the knife out, covered in blood. Devon watched it drip from the kife. Her own blood. She sucked in a breath, staring at it. She felt Trinity's arm ache, like as if the sight of it made it twitch.
Daniel had fallen to the ground, and moaned in pain. "Hm?" Devon looked at Darius, holding the smoking gun, just holding her gut with a hand, blood pouring from her fingers. She then coughed into my other hand, but pulled back to see blood. "Look at that.." she mumbled, and sighed, blood drippling from her bottom lip. That wing looked so familiar, though, she didn't know why.
((I'm sorry I had to pack the rest of the night then I fell asleep DX))
Devon took her hand off of her wound, and felt blood run down her leg. She staggered over Daniel's twitching body, and gasped out when she felt a hand cool around her ankle, she looked down to see Daniel trying to hold her back, but she kicked the hand off with a booted foot and left him to bleed. Devon stared down at the blood, her arm pulsing, and reached out, running her hands over the feathers. She winced, white light burning into her mind, and staggered back. "N-nothing.." She said through grinded teeth, blinking her eyes open. "I-I think I might need to get this patches up.. Heh.." She looked down at her stomach to see the blood still flowing. She glanced down at Daniel, who was trying to sit up, gasping for air.
[Well, uh, gods this is awkward. I've been thinking about what you said earlier , about the second chance thing.. Turns out I thought you ment the friend way.. I think.. You mean the other way right..? The y'know, together thing. I hope you do. But uh, yeah, I'll give you "a second chance". But to be honest, I don't really think I have you up in the first place, unless you're the one who sort of gave me up? I'm not sure how to explain it, and this is so cheesy I'm going to puke. I'm scared I'm explaining all this in a way you aren't going to understand, and it will be even more awkward than it already is. But yeah, I guess tell me your thoughts on it when you come back on.]
[Im gonna be super embarrased if that's not what you ment. We're like three years older than each other ack, why would you want to y'know hang out with a thirteen year old.]
[Yeah, I'm totally cool with that. n_n And don't worry, I understood you. *fist bump*]
Devon placed her hand over the wound, and looked down at Daniel, who was staggering backwards inside the closet. "What.. What was that thing?" Devon asked, looking at Darius, then the stone in his hand.
Devon squinted at it. Obvious it had healing powers, but could it do anything else? She decided not to linger on the topic, and she glanced beside her at Daniel. "You aren't her real brother, are you?" She asked, her tone of voice changing. "WH-what..? No, I am her brother." He studdered, his back pressing against the wall. "Or is that another lie too..?" Devon added, cocking her head, and slowly stepping forward. She watched Daniel reach for the knife in his pocket, but had nearly forgotten it was on the ground behind Devon. "N-no- it isn't a lie.. I-I swear!" He said, looking behind her at the knife glinting against the wooden floor. "Really?" Devon added, and clenched her fist, and started wrapping it around his neck, her thumb slowly grazing his throat. Her other arm, her normal one, started slowly coiling around the other side of his neck as well. "Pathetic.." She muttered, and felt different. But.. She liked the feeling. She felt Trinity's arm warm, and out of the corner of her eyes, it started to glow. No, not the whole arm. An aura, starting from her shoulder blade to her elbow. Three rings of pure turquoise energy rippled in a cilendrical order. "I'll ask again-" Devon said powerfully. "Are you her brother?" She watched as Daniel again, shook his head up and down, signaling a yes. "Liar.." She breathed. "No brother kills his own sister." And then, without warning, twisted her hands to the left. A large, audible snap was heard, and she dropped her grasp on Daniel, him crumbling to the ground. "What he told us where lies." Devon breathed, Trinity's arm clenched into a fist, and she felt the auras ripple as she turned around to face Darius. She felt so powerful. "That wing.. It wasn't Trinity's, wasn't it.." The anger in her face poured from her voice."if it where hers.. I would've felt something. But the blood smelt and looked fresh." Devon picked up a feather from the ground, black ad a crow's, and spun it between her fingers. "He didn't know a second thing about wolves, either. I have a feeling, knowing Trinity, she would've told him about them." She looked behind her, at the body laying on the floor. Dead, dead because of her. Devon looked up again, at Darius, giving him a cold look, dropping the feather so it fluttered to the ground. "I have a bad gut feeling he killed Trinity on his own."
Devon was confused why he had called her Trinity. It was just her arm.. A-and her face.. I mean, he didn't quite know about her face yet. "Alright." She said sturdily. "But I don't feel like I should have it. I never exactly knew her that well." She mumbled, tugging at her collar. "I feel like you should keep it. I mean, I'm not her, it's just my arm." Devon said, wiping a smudge of blood from her lip with her sleeve.
[Wow I was gone forever. Sorry, we had to get settled in a hotel room for a week and a few days then I lost internet for a few days ;A; but I'm back now hia]
Devon frowned, but looked defeated. She couldn't argue with this guy. "Okay.. I'll keep an eye out." She murmered, and began descending downstairs for anything else. I mean, Daniel had a hidden alchemy book in a wall, who knows what else could be here?
((Shi.t, I'm on hello oAo' Also, I'll go ahead and look it up. It sounds interesting ouo. Thank gods it wasn't the 20th when I came on .D. But oops, I haven't been online in a while. How are ya dood S(o0o)S))
There most definetly was a basement. Full of equipment and tools. Devon continued around the house, and adjusted her scarf nervously. She felt like she should tell Darius that it wasn't only Trinity's arm she had, but half of her face alongside it. Devon felt her heart thump wildly at the thought. But what if it wasn't /only/ her face either...? Could she actually be Trinity without realizing it? She didn't know, nor understand what to do about her current situation anymore.
"Darius." Devon suddenly spoke up, her voice cracking. Her visible eye widened, and she gulped, looking at the ground. "Did.. Did Trinity have.. Amber eyes?" She said suddenly, looking at the man from across the room. "Like.. fire..?" she sounded hollowed and.. slightly frightened.
((Sorry I left for so long I had to go to "bed". I can't use my DS either so I'm gonna have to be on the Internet, I apologize ono. And I don't have a gmail sadly.
((Sorry I'm taking so long respond and stuff my friends are texting me a lot and I'm like gah oAo))
So she did. She shakily raked back my bangs, revealing the other portion of her face. Just about where the left side of her nose began a long thick scar had displayed itself upon her face. But it wasn't exactly a scar. It was like a new batch of tanned, freckled skin had crawled its way onto her face. Devon was quite scared of his reaction. She slowly turned to him from the other side of the room, opening her other eye. Orange red, just like flames. The skin across the other half of her face matched perfectly to the one on Trinity's arm.
"I-I don't know.." She said. His reaction was either very very cool about it, or deadly terrified. "Darius- I-I don't want to be her." She said suddenly, staring at the ground, her bangs tucked behind her ear. "I don't want to be another person.. I-I really don't." Devon didn't know if this was offending to him, that his possibly dead friend could come back and she didn't want to. Devon never had to trust this transfer, nor did she ever have to find out she might not even be the person she thought she was for all her life anymore. Devon leaned against the back wall, touching the skin with her paler fingers under her amber eye, tracing the slightly darker, freckled cheekbones. She looked up at Darius again, just a blank stare, from him across the dank, musty room.
She looked up at the boy across the room, then looked downcast. She held her hands to her eyesight, blinking and gulping. She brushed the bangs back from her face with her free hand again, looking out the window from the kitchen. "I apologize for the outburst." She said shortly, pushing herself off from the wall and inhaled in, puffing out her chest, and continuing the search, a bit more awkwardly than before.
"Wh- OH GODS!" Devon ducked out of the way, watching the sword lodge into the blacked wall right behind her, right where her head was. She inched away from it, and gave Darius a scared look. "A-are you insane?" She asked, and tugged at the sword to get out of the wall. It took a few tries, but by the time the sword had dislodged itself, Devon stumbled back, holding the sword in front of her, gripping the hilt with two hands. "Geez.. W-what if I hadn't have ducked from that..?" Devon asked carefully, glancing at Darius again. "I would've been the new headless horseman.."
"Yeah, well the sheath isn't very strong! Either that or YOU'RE insanely strong." Devon stated, and did something she hadn't done in a while. She grinned. "Looks like you got a bit of muscle on those toothpicks!" She stated, and raised the sword in her hands and slid off the leather cover, and revealed shining metal. "Wow." She breathed, and let the sheath fall to the ground. She then, held the sword in front of her again, and a small smile lined her face. "Wow.. I just-" she scanned the sword up and down. It was so cool. It was long, and thin. But the blade was sharp, as where the sides. It even seemed to glow a small hint of red. "That's so cool.." She said in awe. Almost unlike before, back when she was the almost expressionless girl who had nearly stolen Darius's cigarette out of his own mouth, she was looking like a dork standing there in awe of the sword held between her different colored hands, as if she was a different person. Looks like she tended to open up to people she trusts, eh?
I stuck out my tongue at his emotions comment, and sighed, looking down again. "A BEAM of light? How did she manage to do that?" I asked, and dropped the sword again, picking up the sheath again and sliding the sword inside. She fastened the sword to her belt loop, fumbling with it for a few moments, then scanned the room again, not bothering to watch as her hair fell back in front of her face again.
((I think I'm for sure bringing Trinity back, for her creator I'm actually missing her a bit too ouo))
((Sorry I didn't respond I keep nodding off ono I think I'm going to bed after this comment because it's around 2:39 here and I wanna get off before I do something that won't make sense and mess up something if you know what I mean ./\.' But I had the idea, maybe the more things Devon relives that Trinity did, the more she becomes like her. Maybe she'll even get her memories back at one point too owo and I might be slowly boarding the darisaki ship TwT but I'm going to bed now uwu Night dude.))
"Really.." Devon scanned the room again, and sighed, closing her eyes. "She sounded important as hell.. "The Guardian of Light"." Devon repeated, scratching the back of her neck. "There seems to be a /bunch/ of government bad guys out here- or there- huh.." Devon muttered, opening her eyes again. "Hm, well.. Maybe we should check a bit more.. And then maybe we can try and find more? Daniel gave us that alchemy book, I nearly forgot." Devon added. "Maybe there's stuff in there"
((Ooooo I just got a good idea for bringing trinity back heheh but yeah, I'm still going to bed . ,, . Night >w<))
((Duuuuuuude I just had ramen for the first time in forever the other day S(o0o)S It was the best thing ever *presses the ramen button and watches as the overlord of the noodles rain from the sky* Ahhh Yiss))
Most of the book was about different kinds of alchemy, elements, transfiguration, and how to practice such an act. "Hey- wait.. What's that?" Devon suddenly asked, walking up to Darius and placing her finger on a page that he had flipped through. "Human.. Transfiguration..?" She muttered, a stone look crossing her face. She scanned the page quietly.
"H-huh..? Oh, yeah.." Devon took the book into her hands. "It's only been done by a few people and.. They failed." Devon bit her lip, staring at the box with a hard look. "I was thinking.. Maybe would could try to bring her back." Devon looked at the taller male beside her. "S-she means a lot to you, right?" Devon asked. "I mean, maybe I could sarcrfice myself or something. I-I didn't have much to live for, to be honest." She laughed nervously. But maybe it wasn't the right choice. Sacrificing her own life for another's? Maybe they should just leave Trinity to rest.. In peace. If they did try, the chance of them survivng was close to none. Devon would have to sacrifice herself in order to bring Trinity back "The first law of alchemy is that nothing can be taken without first giving something else in return." Even if the two tried to bring her back, they would have to find a part of the original Trinity to have for a base.. Like DNA. And they didn't have any of that... or did they?
"Anything that is taken must be restored." Devon said, blinking down at the book. "If we need a body, we'll need to sacrifice one. But we need an original part of Trinity." Devon paused, then looked down at her arm. "And I don't know if I want to chop off my arm for this." She paused, frowning. "There are no body parts here, though.. We need something of Trinity's." Devon was now just muttering under her breath. "Trinity is dead, though.. Shriveled to ashes. The body that is. Was there anything else Trinity had that wasn't human?" Devon asked, setting the book down on a table next to them.
((Sorry I ate lunch then my dad made me do chores and stuff ._.'))
"W-what if it is, though..?" Devon asked, biting on her tongue. "And I'm wondering why Daniel would just Java wing laying around. Kind of odd, don't you think? There has to be something behind it.. Somehow.."
((Crap I have to leave again. I'll be back in around 30 minutes?? unu sorry dude))
Devon sucked in breath and she made her way to the stairs. What if Daniel's corpse was still up there? What if it wasn't? Scared of her own reaction, Devon made her way back to Trinity's room. She had peeled back into the closet, seeing the slightly blood splattered carpet had no Daniel corpse on it. "Oh.. Fuck." She breathed, and made her way past the blood, reaching out towards the wig. It was large, giant, and Devon gulped, raising it from the ground. Now she was having second thoughts. What if it really wasn't Trinity's and she's just following some false hope? But it was the only thing she had to follow for now, so it had to do.
((Whoo hoo I was back in less than 30 minutes. Sweet alright hello.))
"Sure." Devon said, shifting out of the closet, and she made her way to Darius. "W-what do we have to do..?" She asked, holding the wing by the bone at the top. /If this brings back someone that isn't Trinity I'm going to be pissed./ Devon thought.
((RIP Devon for now uwu She'll be in the RP more but just not as much. But now Trinity is definetly coming back ouo I have decided. Also, what I was thinking for Devon is since she's offering herself, she can go to "the other side" and stay there as a dream demon of sorts who visits people in their dreams and nightmares and such.))
"Ah, that's how you didn't die. Interesting." Devon added, and placed the wing onto the ground. She took a step towards it, and sat into the ground next to it rather goofily, giving a lopsided grin. "I'm guessing I need to offer myself somehow, right.." She murmered, and gathered the wing in her arms. "Hey, before we do anything, thanks for opening the world to me." Devon said, tilting her head. "I know it's cheesy but I don't know what you did to help me realize I don't have to be such a downer all the time." Her smirk widened. "Let's do this, then."
"I'll see you, then." Devon saluted, and right as her hand had pulled away from her head, she seemed to have disappeared. Devon smiled as if she where happy, her own form sinking into the darkness below. She felt warmth enveloping her, and she felt home. Devon had hit the ground, and slowly sat up, the faint features of a smile still tracing her face. "Welcome home, young one." Devon turned to look behind her at the sound of the voice, to see her mother, her loving caretaker, Pam standing on all fours, giving as much of a grin as a wolf could do. Devon had felt her senses pick up, and she sniffed, her eyes brimming with tears as she had made her way through the darkness towards the light that sealed her path.

"Dark On Me" by Starset (Trinity's theme)
It wasn't everyday you pick up an old tale you never finished to read again. Gasping, sputtering. It also wasn't everyday you actually finished it. Darkness, hands, clawing. There where bodies. Millions. They where dragging her down. They where grabbing her arms, her legs, her hair. Her scalp stung from the constant tugging. She reached out a wavering arm, only to be surprised. It was her own. Unlike the missing space that used to cascade around her shoulder, her arm, tattooed, was firmly placed into her blade. She started digging. Through the dark bodies, trying to scream through a muffled mouth. The last time she was thrown in here she thought she had no more hope. But before any more thoughts could ring in her head, the girl had been slightly released from the grasp of the spirits. She took in a gulp of fresh air, gasping as she went. Another hand slid off her face, revealing an equally almost demonic eye. The girl was panting, digging on top of the bodies, as if trying to use them as steps. Was that.. Light? A prinprick of light shot out from the distance, like a light at the end of a tunnel. Had a dumba.ss finally have the guts to open the gate? Whoever, or whatever it was, she was grateful. She continued climbing away from the blackness pouring over her, even though her muscles screamed in protest, and burning sensations started in her thighs, she kept pressing. The girl was suddenly shocked as a figure had whizzed from the hole and by her, as if being chucked from the outside in. A flash of white and red flew by immediately a it was gone. Was it the person who opened the gate? A girl? How would it open for her, she didn't know anyone like that. The blonde haired girl still continued forward and suddenly gasped out, as it seemed all of the spirits had let go. The woman was hurrled from the gateway, as if the spirits had given up on their clutches, and flew into a new light. The girl was surprised at the sudden movement, and couldn't cling onto anything while she was greeted by an insane amount of red sparks, and then a wall.
Almost as soon as the petal had opened, it had coded, and a hurling body was chucked from it, and sent to the other side of the room. The stickly looking woman had slammed back first into the wall, and had hit the floor with a dank thud. "Ooh.. Jesus fucking Christ-" she had groaned out, the cusses drippling from her mouth in a pained groan.
"Fuckin- who-" the girl had covered her eyes, shading them with one arm draped across her forehead, and squinted up at the person looming over her. Her vision was clouded and blurry, and she grabbed the hand offered to her, trying to stand, using the wall as support. The girl had a thin framed face as well as sharp features. Her nose always was a bit too pointy for her liking and a light spray of freckles radiated on his tan face. She had thin blonde hair splayed down her shoulders that reached about her waist. Whenever she moved, the hair would drape down over her shoulders. And the girl seemed to have a knack of clothing for black. She wore a long black trenchcoat that almost seemed to balance out from her back and swoop from her waist to hover over her ankles. The woman, still squinting through the light bursting through the windows, blinked, putting her arm down, and caught glimpse of the boy in front of her. No, wait. "D-Dar-.. Darius..?" She asked hollowly, and scrunched up her face, as if it made her see better. "Holy shit- Dariu-!" She went to try and step near him but stumbled, grabbing his arm for balance. "H-holy- holy fuck!" She stated, her hair falling over her face. "I-I can't believe it! I-it was you..? T-the one who opened the portal- gate- thing- w-whatever- oh my gods you're actually here!" She sounded breathless, and laughed giddily, leaning against the wall.
((It's just a happy face. The u is the smile and the semi colons are the eyes and arms ouo. Also, that's so adorable, my whole childhood just came back to me XD))
"D-Devon..? Who-" Trinity trailed off, letting go of his arm, getting away from the wall she used for help and swayed slightly as she stood. "The house.. I-it was burning.. I-I heard Daniel scream my name and before I could get to him from downstairs it just.. I was burned." She whispered, her good eye widening, while the other plastered the same blackness as it always had. "And then I kind of.. Opened my eyes in a flash again and I was digging my way here into the world again- ah- i-it kinda hurts.." Trinity grasped her forehead and winced. "I-it kinda hurts to think.. G-geez." She said, bringing her back against the wall again, and gave Darius a crooked smile. "B-But long time no see, dude.. L-looks like you had a slight growth spurt." Trinity observed. She used to be his same height, now that she saw, Darius was slightly taller now.
((I'm not sure if I'm able to get flight rising I'm so sorry TTnTT I don't have my own computer, and my mom and dad don't have one either they have these weird tablet things ono I'm not sure if I can join but I'll still try to see if I can do it from my iPod or not. Gah I feel really bad unu I read up on it a bit and the dragons seem soooooo cool.))
((Oh really? Sweet, alright, I'll sign up on the 20th as soon as I can (ouo)b Let's pray it lets it work on my iPod o_o'' sorry I replied really late, in trying to draw while doing this and I get sucked in after a while ono))
"Fuck.. Something bad happened, didn't it..?" She asked, wincing as her aura red sword was handed back into her palm. She examined it, and glanced on the ground for her sheath before sliding it back into the pouch. Trinity followed Darius up the stairs quietly, chewing the inside of her lip nervously.
"There's blood on the floor.." Trinity said, pointing to the slight blood drip on the floor. "He wouldn't try to kill anyone.. That's /not/ Daniel." Trinity said, shuffling around her old bedroom and picking up frames and broken glass from the floor while thinking. "I don't see Daniel hurting anyone.. I don't see him really /talking/ to anyone either.. He's too timid for that. Let alone, if he wanted to try and kill someone he wouldn't be able to commit the act." She turned to look at Darius over her shoulder, her hair falling over as she placed another frame on the shelf. "You see, he tends to have a gag reflex around blood. Like he sees a spot of it and he's rushing to the bathroom." Trinity shrugged at her own brothers actions, and picked up another broken glass piece, placing it away from anywhere someone could get potentially hurt.
((Also I wanted to draw Darius in this new art style if I could, I just wanted permission uwu And since I'm having a slight thing for half gas masks right now, can I draw him in that? I mean, Aridus is the one with the gas mask thing but I wanted to test it out on Darius if that was alright XD))
"J-journey..?" Trinity asked again, frowning. "What- OH! You mean the giant adventure thing- w-well as much as anyone could remember, I guess. It wasn't like that one time all my memories where wiped, though. I remember them like the average person, I guess.. B-but why do you ask..?" Trinity questioned concerned, and strayed away from the neatening of her room to glance at her friend in worry.
"What oH GEEZ!" Trinity was slightly started at the sudden changes, then laughed it off. "That's super cool! What are you a coyote thing or something?" Trinity bent down to meet Darius at his new level. "That's so badass.. Holy fuck." Trinity muttered, grinning.
((Shit I fell asleep in really sorry ;A; It was really late and I just woke up at lunch time I feel so bad. I'm so so sorry.))
"My other form..?" Trinity paused. "O-oh, no, I don't think so.. I mean, I don't even know if I have my wings anymore.. They where.. Taken or something." She said, frowning, but it was still mingled with a half smile.
((Ahhhhh the flight rising accounts are open at 5:30 I'm excited ouo))
"I-I'm not sure." She mumbled a bit awkwardly, scratching the back of her neck, looking down. "I'm kinda scared I'm normal now to be honest.. Like everything was stripped away from me when I.. Left.." She sighed, and sat down, crossing her legs over each other. "I mean I'm not even supposed to be here."
"Oh? Uhm.. I think I'm alright. They'll need to juice up a bit I guess.. I mean being "dead"-" she wrapped her fingers like quotations and pronuciated on the word, "-for who know how long probably tired them out. Besides, it would probably be nice to take a break for a all out beams and stuff. Good old sword to sword combat." She added, raking her bangs out of her face. "But.. How have you been? Since the part time o saw you that is.. Kinda late to be asking this but I'm starting not to care anymore." She grinned, and tilted her head slightly to the side.
"WHOA!" Trinity suddenly looked surprised. "You have a wife and two kids?! Holy crap! Congrats!" She stated, grinning madly. "Wait.." Her voice went quieter. "That means you did the thing.." Her smile slowly turned into a smirk. Excuse Trinitys dirty mind it's just who she is damn it.
"But dude.. Your wife is.. Dead?" Trinity quieted, frowning. "Sorry for your loss." She wasn't exactly the best at making people feel better, but she tried her best.
"L-like I said.. It felt like I was sleeping.. Nothing really happened until today." Trinity shrugged. "But once I came here I felt like something was wrong with this world. I don't know why I just feel it in the atmosphere." Trinity shuddered slightly, and looked at the walls of her old, charred room. "I don't know it's just weird. I feel like something giant is about to happen."
"OH." Trinity's eyes widened, her mouth forming an "o" shape. "Well.. I kinda settled down for a bit. I tried to practice drawing but still, the best I can do is a stick figure." She swear dropped and laughed nervously. "So I kinda gave up on that.. Daniel started a job as a librarian and I kinda hung out at my house for a bit." She said, gesturing around her room. "After we went our separate ways things got reaaaaaaally boring." She added snuffly.
((Same as my one in colors! XD I'm so friggin original I know.))
Trinity looked outside, the sun way making its way down. "Yeah, tomorrow, if we could." She said, and stifled a yawn. "I'm sleepy as fuck.. Who ever knew being called up from some underworld was so tiring."
((Oh gods no. Wish I did though XD If I had one my cat would eat it. But no, there are crows outside and the ocassional deer now that I moved to NC. Of course it took me longer than it should've because I accidently dumped the bowl in the grass instead of the forest and I got yelled at by my dad and I had to pick it all up o-o'' ))
Dreams are strange.
It's only been a few hours of separation and we've already met once more. "Darius." Her tone was strong as usual. But in the darkness, it echoed. "Darius, something big is coming. Be prepared. The creators are coming." Devon had stepped from the shadows, almost like an entity, and a slight breeze blew through. "Dear friend, the battle is about to begin." She adjusted her scarf, and smiled, her eyes quickly flashing a sense of warmness. "Just remember, don't trust the creators."
And with that, the almost dreamlike state was done.
Trinity had only spread herself out across the bed, snoring almost loudly. Her arms where splayed around her, as where her legs. The sheets where kicked to the very edge of the bed. Looks like Trinity was that type of sleeper that was a bit annoying. But it matched her well. She slept dreamless that night.
((Holy shot okay so I'm in flight riding now.. There are dragon gods that sounds badass. Any particular one you want me to pick? Or can I choose which one I want?))
Trinity had snorted in her sleep then coughed into her pillow, the sudden loss of breath caused her to wake up in bed. She sat up, her black trenchcoat draped over the bedpost, and she hacked into her arm. After a few more seconds, Trinity sat up, stretching her arms behind her back and yawned.
((I left as well I ate dinner XD I feel like I haven't had pizza forever owo I'm still trying to figure out all the controls, it's super confusing -3-'))
Trinity really didn't want to get out of bed, aside the giant headache rush from sitting up to fast. She groaned, throwing herself back onto the pillow, only cause it wasn't the pillow. "GAH! JESusssss-" she groaned out. Instead of the pillow, she had scooted too far back and the back of her head was greeted with the painful blow of the bed post. She sat up again, rubbing the back of her neck. "Yo Darius? You awake?" She shouted from upstairs, and placed a second hand behind her neck.
((AGH I feel like such a weeb because everyone has these really cool descriptions and I just got this badass dragon trade thing from you and I'm just aGH))
"Oh, cool! Uh-" her voice faltered. "I'll make breakfast if you want- I'll be down in a second!" Trinity undid her hair from the bun it was in leaving it slightly wavier than usual. She got out of bed, still running the back of her neck and started padding downstairs in teal pajama pants and a grey tank top yawning at her sleepiness.
((What do I do with your message on FR oh my gods I am so lost *nervous eye twitch and smiles at ceiling like an idiot* Gods help me))
"You're the guest, I should be doing the work, not you." Trinity laughed, and grinned, making her way into the slightly charred kitchen. "Let's just hope I don't start a fire.. Mother one of those is one of the last things we need." She mumbled, dropping her hand from her neck and leaning against the counter. "What are you up to eating, dude?" She asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
((I don't talk to Megan much as I used to, I wish I could. But I dunno if I should try and add her I'm kinda nervous she'll ask who I am and I still don't know any of the controls yet oAo''))
/Waffles it is../ Trinity thought, and pushed herself from the counter and started scanning the fridge for the batter. "Ghost town..? I remember /something/ about that- oh, here it is." Trinity stood back straight again with the waffle mix and opened the package, kicking the fridge closed with her foot. "What'd we do there?" She asked, grinning at Darius from over her shoulder.
"Oh." Trinitys face went pale. She nearly forgot that she had bad motion sickness. "That would've been pleasent to forget.. Gods, that ride was terrible." She murmered, putting a hand up to her face and giving a small smile to herself. She poured the batter into the waffle pan and closed it, flipping the "on" switch. She laughed, taking her hands through her slightly tangled hair and put the batter back. "I just hope I never have to ride in a car again.. O-or anything moving that is." She gulped.
"You mean the pink haired Titan flower chick?" She asked, and hopped on the counter, swinging her legs over it. "I think so- geez didn't she grow to like a zillion feet or something?" Trinity asked, and laughed.
"G-gah! I-I didn't mean that, and you know it!" She stated, her eyebrows shooting upward so. "It isn't funny you jerk, I thought I killed you!" She punched his shoulder lightly, even though a ghost of a smile was hinting on her lips.
"Yeah.. And it isn't funny!" She repeated again, her smile growing. A tiny ding was heard from the waffle machine, and Trinity hopped down from the counter and opened a utensil drawer to search for a spatula. "Shit- remember when I fell off that cliff? Then you freaking fell off with me?" She asked, finding the spatula, and slamming the drawer shut with her hip. "That was /insane/. Nearly killed you there, too." She added, gesturing with the spatula in hand.
"The-" Trinity placed a hand under her blackened eye, on her cheekbone, and smiled. "Yeah, we did, didn't we." She opened the waffle maker and slid out two waffles, serving them each to a clean plate she grabbed from the sink. "You want anything on your waffle? Maybe maple syrup?" She asked.
((Ello ouo speaking of accents I heard that if you move somewhere you might obtain the accent of the area now I'm scared im going to come out of nc with a southern accent o_o))
((I think I'm going to leave for now since I'm starting to fall asleep again ono' Goodnight, Mitchell. Not sure what time it is up there but whatever it is- er- whenever it is, have a nice sleep uwu *huggles and then facebeds*))
Trinity handed him the syrup bottle from the top shelf, and yawned again, covering her mouth with the back of her hand, and rubbed her eyes from sleep. "When you're done can you hand me the bottle?" She asked sluggishly.
"Yeah me t-to-" she yawned again, muttering a cuss, and poured the syrup over her waffles like it was the apocolypse. Trinity had a knack for insanely sweet things, for example, 20 sugar cubed tea, possibly chocolate ice cream mixed with every syrup known to man, sugar coated strawberries, you name it. As a child Trinity developed this habit at a young age, within this time she tried to make her parents try get combinations, resulting in sour faces and rinsing their mouths with the sink. Trinity didn't understand such a disgust, but I guess her tastebuds where too dull to realize. After probably the fifth coating of syrup on her single waffle she stowed the bottle away, grabbing two forks, handing one to Darius.
"Aridus..?" Trinity asked, then shoved a fork full of waffle syrup into her mouth. "Oh, coffee dude! Yeah, I think we talked once or twice." She grinned, her cheeks puffed out with waffle. She swallowed before she spoke again. "Have you seen him lately?"
((I really wanna send you a dreagen now but I have no cool ones ;A; *quietly cries* Aridus is the human slightly asshole-her Alphonse it's been confirmed XD))
"Really?" She asked with her mouth full, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. "That's gotta be fun." She added sarcastically, grinning.
Trinity sighed out, running her fingers through her hair when she ate the last of her breakfast. "I forgot how much fun it was hanging around you, dude." She punched his shoulder again, and laughed. "So, we head out to find Daniel again?" Trinity asked, and dumped her waffle plate into the sink for cleaning later. What a procrastinator.
"After you saying that he nearly tried to "kill" you.. I certainly have no idea." Trinity shook her head numbly. "I mean, the last time /I/ saw him was the library. So I decide we try to go there, perhaps?" She suggested, tilting her head.
((And you said Trinity was the pervy friend XD Darius took a turn for the worst ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ((I just found this text face and it's terrifying XDD))
"Oh.. Uh-" Trinity stopped, tapping her cheek in thought. "I think it was actually just in the town nearby.. Where it's located I have no clue." She shrugged.

I blinked, and I had said,
"Hey."
I had forgotten what my voice sounded like. There was no need to use it when you where alobe. It sounded deep, emotionless, and stotic. But it was deep, strong, like stone.
03 Apr, 2015, 5:29 pm
He sounded confused, and wondering. I focused my vision on the cylinder between his fingers.
"What do you think you're doing..?" my voice was hollow, and I looked back up into the boy's eyes. They where both different colors. One was yellow, another ice blue. I blinked my own, envying their color.
"With, with.." I continued, looking away from his face, and back to the small object. "T-that smoke weapon." I named it. I gave the object a hard, concered look. Could it hear into our conversation? Could it be used other than damaging your insides?
03 Apr, 2015, 6:17 pm
03 Apr, 2015, 6:40 pm
I didn't know who that was. I didn't really care.
"So, if you want to die, fine with me." I stated. "Don't even know who you are anyway.. Not like it'll matter after you jam pack your lungs full of polluted air." I mumbled under my breath. I turned to walk away, hiking my blood red scarf over my nose, and closing my eyes.
"If you're going to.. release your poisionous gases around here, maybe go to the city and do it." I turned around, facing the boy, looking at him over my shoulder. Narrowing my turquoise irises, I added,
"At least the people there don't give a damn about each other.." I looked away, and whispered,
"Selfish beings." at the bottom of my voice. I started walking away now, towards the area with the most trees. I haven't left this forest since I was small. I was raised here, and I decided to stay here for the rest of my life. Devoted to staying out of sight, devoted to staying out of people's way. As you can see, I just broke that rule for the first time in my life.
03 Apr, 2015, 7:26 pm
03 Apr, 2015, 8:12 pm
[Oh yeah, Darius had a fake arm! I remember that!]
03 Apr, 2015, 8:43 pm

03 Apr, 2015, 11:53 pm
04 Apr, 2015, 7:30 pm
I remembered what my friends had said, about the (Continued)

stars.
"They're watching over you."
"R-really..?"
"Well of course, what else do you think they do on their spare time?"
I giggled, and let my small, child fingers curl over glossy grey fur.
"You may choose one if you wish."
My tiny head had shot up at that statement.
"C-choose one..? How do you do that?"
"Just.." I heard the animal's voice falter, and I frowned at the beast curled underneath me.
"P-Pam?"
I watched her yellow eyes gaze over the blue sky, and shake her head.
"Just.. choose your favorite, then name it."
My little eyes shot up into the darkened sky, my expression lit up by the moon.

Is a Trinity, right?"
"That's right." Pam said, cocking her head. "What are you suggesting?"
"Mhm.." I looked down at my hands intwinded in her fur. "I'm going to name the star Trinity!"
"That's a lovely name.. And, you know what's even more facinating about the stars?"
"What's that?" I asked, my expression lighting up.

"Reincarnated? What's thatmean?" I asked, my face scrunching up. "So.. I reincarnationed.. er, whatever you said, you said that I did that was Trinity?"
"Perhaps.." Pam said, a sly grin etching her wolfish grin.

[Oops, Trinity is back XD]
04 Apr, 2015, 8:09 pm
I had suddenly jumped at the voice, nearly falling out of the tree. Grabbing both sides of the branch with my hands, I felt my hearbeat in my ears, rumbling in my brain. I heaved, looking below me, and for the second time again, saw the boy leaning against the base of the trunk.
"Y-you again..?!" I asked, my deep voice cracking. "Someone ever teach you to NOT walk up to someone and scare the living sh.it out of them?" I added, my calm aura coming back. My face relaxed into its regular plain expression, my hair tickling the tip of my nose.

[Yeah she is. Trinity died, and..Well I'll show you later, I'd have to type it out . ,, .]
04 Apr, 2015, 8:22 pm
"What was your question?" I asked, my tone sounding bored. I hadn't caught it all, nearly having a heartattck from being ripped away from my peaceful thoughts and daydreams. What could he possibly want from me? I don't even know his name. I didn't know who he was. He didn't know me either. Why bother? I'm just a person, just wandering the forest.
04 Apr, 2015, 8:34 pm
04 Apr, 2015, 8:35 pm
[Oh alright uwu Talk to you soon.]
05 Apr, 2015, 2:02 am
"Trinity is.. Dead." I stated, frowning. I looked up at the sky again, watching the star twinkle in the sky.
"At least that I know of.."
05 Apr, 2015, 6:39 pm

"They say those where tattoos from them."
"Tattoos..? What are those?" Pam laughed at my question, tossing her head to swat off bugs.
"Pictures drawn onto their skin."I gasped quietly, reaching my palm to my cheek and my eyelid, tracing over my scar.
"So... Trinity had tattoos of.. blobs on her face? And her arm?" I asked, frowning, looking at my sleeved left shoulder, as if I could see the patch of skin there as well.
"No, no, of course not, that would be foolish. And I'm sure Trinity was smart enough not to get drunk enough to do that."
"Drunk? What's-"
"That's a story for another tiny, young one." Pam said, smiling faintly, almost sadly.

"I-I'm not leaving-!"
I heard Pam suddenly whine, and I looked up, seeing a man, a solider even, dressed in a uniform, holding up a gun, the tip smoking.

06 Apr, 2015, 3:40 pm

But, I did watch all of the episodes plus the ending movie of the original FMA and holy sh.it I loved it. I actually originally got Devon's arm and power idea from Scar. See, I was going to make Devon's opposite eye and arm Trinity's, almost like they where transmuted onto her.

08 Apr, 2015, 12:04 pm
[And yeah, of course I'll give you another chancd nun. It again, wasn't your fault (in my oinion) but I feel like we're both putting the blame on ourselves and are trying to make each other feel better ;w; But yeah, of course.]
08 Apr, 2015, 12:08 pm
[I make too many typos -_-']
08 Apr, 2015, 12:44 pm
[Oh, I didn't realize you commented. Hold on, I'll reply (hopefully it doesn't get erased)]
08 Apr, 2015, 12:53 pm
I gave the boy a confused look. How what?
"Is there.. Something wrong..?" I asked quickly, wanting to tuug the sleeve back over my arm. I knew I would get embarrassed like this. I felt my face heat up. There was definetly something wrong with me. More than one. My hands started trembling on the place I pinched the hem of the collar between my fingers, gulping to try and keep my mouth from drying out.
"There is something wrong, isn't there?" I confirmed.
08 Apr, 2015, 12:53 pm

08 Apr, 2015, 12:54 pm

08 Apr, 2015, 12:55 pm
[Or at least, I'm pretty sure I do o_o'. I'm scared I don't know what you're talking about now.. Fahk.]
08 Apr, 2015, 12:58 pm
"Excuse me?" I stated, looking down at his hand on my own.
/Trinity's?/
"But.. That can't be possible.." I murmered, looking upward at Darius, a scared look crossing my face. Did he know something I didn't? Or was he as clueless as myself?
08 Apr, 2015, 1:05 pm
"I-I already said, I don't know..!" I stated roughly, my eyebrows furrowing. "T-Trinity is dead..!" But then, it got me wondering.
/What if she isn't?/ My heart raced. What if I had accidently lied to Darius, not knowing what I was saying?
"I-I'm not sure anymore.." I whispered, dropping my arm from the coat, and wiggling Trinity's arm from the rest of the sleeve.
08 Apr, 2015, 1:06 pm
[O-okay I think I do know.]
08 Apr, 2015, 1:07 pm
[I gotta go to school now, Mitchell, but I may be able to talk to you from there on someone's phone or the computers or something. I'll talk to you soon, have a nice day dude nun/]
08 Apr, 2015, 3:10 pm
[Hi dude nun]
08 Apr, 2015, 8:16 pm
I tensed up as I felt his arms hang around me.
"What are you doing..?" I asked, my hands at my sides, and I blinked lightly. Is this some kind of communication that I didn't know about?
08 Apr, 2015, 8:17 pm
[My grandparents are visiting right now.. I'll bbl.. Sorry about that unu]
08 Apr, 2015, 9:14 pm

08 Apr, 2015, 9:37 pm
[I keep forgetting that you're not on your DS! I'm sorry DX]
I didn't quite know what soup was, but whatever it is, it sounds pretty damn important. I watched Darius scuttle to the pot hanging over the fire, and my gaze locked onto the fire again, my eyes narrowing. Something about it put me on edge, I just didn't know what.
08 Apr, 2015, 9:46 pm
[Ah, alright nun]
08 Apr, 2015, 9:48 pm
I curled my fingers around the bowl, and I looked down at it. I was surprised I trusted this induvidual so quickly, and I looked up at Darius.
"You drink this top, r-right?" I asked cautiously, looking down at the steaming bowl in my hands. Instead of feeling the hot, stinging sensation, I felt numb, and I bit my botton lip again, watching the steam rise
08 Apr, 2015, 9:48 pm
**drink this too
09 Apr, 2015, 2:32 pm
[I was able to get onto the computer in my computer lab uwu I was trying to send you a message this morning but it wouldn't connect to the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if my mom or dad cleaned up the computer room and accidentally hit a wire to knock out the wifi. Anyways, how are you? I'm sorry I didn't get to talk last night, I fell asleep waaaaaaay early. o_o' Sorry about that.
09 Apr, 2015, 2:51 pm
10 Apr, 2015, 1:35 am
[Hey uhm, you on? I just checked your friendcode message thing, and it says something about dinner. You're probably eating. Anyways, I may be able to be on for a few hours, so yeah! nun]
10 Apr, 2015, 2:00 am
[Ah, it was fine. I forgot to do homework, stressing over grades, my parents are probably going to kill me.. The usual XD The realiter came while I was at school, and I heard houses like mine get bought in about thirty days. Yay.. (sarcasm). So, how was your day?]
10 Apr, 2015, 2:14 am
[Oooooo sheit its the popo run Darius run XD]
10 Apr, 2015, 2:15 am
[The forest popo

10 Apr, 2015, 2:20 am
I had finished the still burning hot soup in a few mere minutes, and set down the bowl, sighing, and looking upward at the sky again. I stared quietly at Pam and Trinity, until I heard something rustle. I could've discarded it as the wind easily, it was tiny, and overlookable. But it was as if the atmosphere had suddenly dramatically chqnged. Tension rose in the air. All the energy made me stiffen, and go silent.
"Something's wrong." I stated, scanning the tree shadows for something, anything out of the ordinary.
10 Apr, 2015, 2:21 am
[I'm also glad to hear your day was good, for some reason it makes me less stressed to hear one friend's day was good and everything nun]

[Internet please love me]
10 Apr, 2015, 2:51 am
I lept up before I could do anything else, the soup bowl being kicked aside by my upturned boot, and I immediatly ran over to Darius's side, kneeling down beside him.I didn't know if he was alive, I didn't know if he was dead. I cupped his cheek in my palm and turned his blood smeared face over to check the wound. I really, really hoped he had somw type of insane healing abilities. Standing up again, I looked in the direction in which the gunshot was heard. The words,
"Target down..." where barely audible in my blood pulsing ears, and my expression grim.

[Sh.it, my internet is being a little a.ss..]
10 Apr, 2015, 3:38 am
"Who fired?!" I screamed, anger and rage trembling my voice as did my fists clenched at my sides. I had no intention on hurting anyone but the one who had fired, but if I had to kill every last one of them to find out, I would. It was strange, like a beast curling and clawing my stomach apart, like warm blood seeped through my body. I cared deeply for that induvidual, like I had known them before. Years, and years, I had felt like I had known him. He was from /somewhere/. I just couldn't find where.
"A-answer me!" I stated louder, my voice cracking at such a high octave.
10 Apr, 2015, 3:40 am
[Thanks. I just got really frusterated typing a long comment then it got deleted five fu.cking times. Then I just get impatient at writing the commentsand try to get it in without my internet shutting down 'n stuff. But I think I figured out how.]
10 Apr, 2015, 4:01 am
10 Apr, 2015, 4:02 am
[*why it concerns
Gods, I'm sorry ;A;]
10 Apr, 2015, 4:26 am
10 Apr, 2015, 4:51 am
I stepped through the same bushes that I seemed to have bashed throughin a fit of rage momenrs before. I re-entered the camp with mixed feeling, and was afraid to look around. I didn't want to see his body lying there. I didn't at all.
10 Apr, 2015, 5:04 am
"A-aha! Y-you are alive..!" I atated, a crooked smile crossing my face, then falling as soon as it came. "How.. how are you alive, though?"

10 Apr, 2015, 11:25 pm
At first, I looked at Darius in disbelief, then faintly shook my head. This boy was impossible. He was shot in the /head/.
"D-did you know them..? Those people who shot you." I eyed the place where the bullet entered his head, and bit my bottom lip.
"They seemed to be.. Tracking you down." This made me nervous. Why would anyone have a reason to track and /kill/ him?
10 Apr, 2015, 11:25 pm

"Do...BT?" I asked, looking throughly confused. I've never heard of them before. "Old department?" I frowned. This sounded all gibberish to me.

17 Apr, 2015, 6:39 pm
All of the words seem to jumble up in my head, only the names "Alice" and "Hiromi" sticking inside, as well as a few key words. "A-a terrorist group..?" I asked, then closing my eyes. So many things had happened today, it was a lot to take in.

It's an easier way to talk to one another. I don't know if you want to try and get it if you haven't had it already.. But I thought it would be a good idea. uwu. I hope you're having a good day, Mitchell.]
09 May, 2015, 3:38 pm
[Oh my gods thanks >w<]
"S-so.. Just the fact I remind you of someone you decide to let me in your little camp?" I snapped, still looking at the fire. My cheeks where aglow with orange flames reflecting off of my clothing. "I could've killed and raided you.. You need to be careful."
I blinked away from the fire, and looked up at the stars again.

I bet."
10 May, 2015, 3:58 pm

14 May, 2015, 11:37 pm

26 May, 2015, 10:14 pm
[Okay, hi dude uwu]
-Time Skip-
I had awoken suddenly, unlike most days where I have to take five minutes to actually function. Maybe it was because a lingering nightmare had crossed my mind. I sat up from where I leaned against the tree, and I stiffled a small yawn, covering it with my sleeve.
27 May, 2015, 8:29 pm
[Nice crossover XD]
I rubbed my eyes with a balled fist, and sulkily got up from where I lay.
"Mornin'." I said sleepily. I had grabbed my backpack from where it was sitting beneath me, and I had walked over,. I slowed down to a halt as I had gotten closer.
"What's.. What's that?" I asked, almost curiously, pointing to the picture he was holding.
28 May, 2015, 9:43 pm
30 May, 2015, 5:38 am
The top read,
"Dear Darius," as the bottom said, "Sincerely, the Avalons". Where had I heard "Avalon" before? I skimmed the note. "Take care of our daughter". Was this.. Some kind of note to Darius to protect Trinity? "We put our trust in you". Did the Avalons.. Whoever they where.. Know Trinity and Darius?
31 May, 2015, 7:28 pm
[im kinda going on and off but yes hello XD and I'm going to switch this to third person now sorry.. And yes, two floors uwu ]
Devon nodded profoundly, and she set the letter down onto the table beside her. So Trinity lived here? Devon went to step into the kitchen area when she heard a small click behind her. Like a gun click. She froze, but her expression hadn't changed.
"Don't move."
The voice was rough. Like the eyes that-
A bullet sound went off, and Devon had profoundly flinched, feeling the numb caress of the bullet grazing the side of her head, breezing her jaw length hair.
01 Jun, 2015, 8:25 pm
01 Jun, 2015, 8:27 pm
[Alright I guess.. My parents had finally sold the house, and the deal is going through this month. We've been trying to find another house to live in ourselves, and we haven't had any luck. Oh, and I'm actually not failing my math class anymore! uwu so I'm happy about that. How about you? We haven't had a talk in a while.. It's kinda been like phone tag across the internet.]
01 Jun, 2015, 9:11 pm
01 Jun, 2015, 9:11 pm
[Thats good to hear uwu]
01 Jun, 2015, 10:34 pm
01 Jun, 2015, 10:34 pm
((continued, crap I accidently sent it ;-;))
01 Jun, 2015, 10:38 pm
-"
"I didn't do a thing to her.." Devon mused, and stopped leaning against the table, walking over. Her footsteps felt fluid. She bent down and picked up Daniel's gun he had been holding, and held it in her hands. Daniel had looked up, enraged.
"I've never heard of you before, Trinity told me everything."
"I doubt that." Devon replied. "Everyone has something they keep from each other, no one could possibly know-"
"She was my fucking sister!" He stated. His hand had fallen from his face, and he looked hysterical. Devon's eyes widened. She was real. Daniel stepped back again, and sniffed, wiping a sleeve over his face. "N-not that it matters anymore.. She's gone.."
01 Jun, 2015, 11:15 pm
"S-she must've been trying to help and somehow made the hear flare u-up more-"
So this is the place where Trinity had sied.

[Ah, okay]
"Nothing.." He murmered. "Reading usually.. But I always did that a lot before-"
"So, you where Trinity's sister?" Devon suddenly interrupted once more, coming back over.
"But how is that on you-?"
"I'm not sure." Devon answered, closing her turquoise eye and shaking her head numbly.
02 Jun, 2015, 1:08 am
[**Trinity
I really really hate typos.]
02 Jun, 2015, 1:15 am
"Here what?"
"It's.. Under alchemy."
"What.. What is alchemy?" Devon was starting to get curious and interested.
"It's supposed to be a really old practice of magik.. It's not even used anymore. If it was, it's practiced among a few."
"And what exactly does this have to do with anything?" Devon said snappily, taking off her jacket and tying it around her waist.
"Hold on, hold on, I'm looking.." Daniel trailed off, skimming the pages.
02 Jun, 2015, 12:01 pm
[Ack, I'm really sorry I fell asleep XD I had to go to sleep because I was a bunch if award ceremonies for school today.]
"That's what I was thinking.." Daniel muttered, without pulling his head up from his reading. "Attached her what to my arm?" Devon echoed, looking confused.
"Trinity was burning alive, I'm not sure how exactly she could've done it though." Daniel concluded, baring his teeth. "But I didn't think Trinity had the knowledge to do such a thing."
"So.. You're calling her stupid?" Devon asked, giving a tiny sarcastic smirk.
"Oh no," Daniel said. "Of anything, she's a younger Thomas Edison. I was just saying that alchemy isn't even used anymore.. It was generations and generations ago that it was put into use."
Devon have a tiny nod.
"Here.. It looks like transmutation." Daniel said, his forefinger pointing to a definition in the book. "It's the act of changing other things into new materials, and shaping them into other objects."
"Well, I don't exactly know how switching objects into other objects explains why I have a different arm."
"It does, though. See, your other arm is somewhere out there, but Trinity's seems to be on your own." Daniel added.
/That's a terrifying thought. So I don't even have my own arm?/ Devon thought in shock. /That must mean this isn't my face either.. Shit../
"I wouldn't be surprised if one of Trinity's stupid pet wolves dragged her body away-"
"Trinity knew wolves?" Devon interrupted, looking like a bad habit of her's. "Yeah, a whole damn pack of them. We found them after we fled from the house fire. She knew them forever, they probably dragged her corpse away to tear it to pieces. I never trusted them, they seemed.. Shady.."
/Wolves wouldn't do something like that... They tend to be shy creatures. What I can believe is the wolves dragging her body away and did something to her inner self.. I guess that's what that "soul" word ment./ Devon thought, nodding to herself.
03 Jun, 2015, 12:38 am
[/•D•\]
"It means, if you want to find out if Trinity is still alive or not, I would say find her freaky wolves."
Devon growled lightly at his statement. "They aren't "freaky" they're shy and gentle. They only get like that when you get too close.."
"Alright, old woman." Daniel said snappily, rolling his eyes, and shutting the book. Devon gave a look at the thin white hair hanging in her face. "I'm not an old woman." Daniel ignored this, and handed the book to Darius. "Here. This might have a few things that help you. It's pretty much a guide to alchemy and all the old magick practices. It might come in use."
/Okay, give HIM the book./ Devon thought defensivly.
03 Jun, 2015, 4:01 am
Daniel gave Darius a confused, but solemn look. "Go ahead.. I'm not sure how much of it is left.. I-I didn't go up there since she burned." He said, looking down. Devon wanted to ask if she could, but she knew that the answer was no. Devon wasn't part of this family, or group of friends. She wanted to be, but was forced out by Trinity's stupid older brother.
"And you're not gonna ask?"
"No, because I know you'll just shit all over me anyways." Devon replied harshly, and leaned against the table again, looking down at her chewed finger nails.
03 Jun, 2015, 4:32 am
"What name do you go by if you don't use your other one anymore?"
"Searcher." He replied, a bit quicker than needed, looking away.
"What are you trying to do, find your love or some romance crap?" Devon taunted in an equally sarcastic voice.
"No, I'm just trying to find the hope I had from when I lost it."
Oh. That's.. Nice.

03 Jun, 2015, 8:09 pm
Now, you would probably expect a cool looking sword or some magick book underneath a bed pulsing with power, but no. There, laid a small puddle of blood. And it smelt weirdly recent.
03 Jun, 2015, 11:34 pm
Daniel's head leaned up at the ceiling. "What's what?!" He called. Devon blinked at the place where she had heard him shout. Devon had gotten curious, and started trudging up the stairs.
04 Jun, 2015, 2:23 pm
[Wow, school's going by so fast because its a half day wow ;3;]
08 Jun, 2015, 3:15 pm
[I haven't been on in forever oh gods hey.]
18 Jun, 2015, 5:17 pm
[Wow I havent used Colors! on my DS in forever.. Oops . ,, .]
18 Jun, 2015, 5:21 pm
Daniel was standing in the doorway, and sfiffened, looking into the room.
"What /blood/?" he asked, and walked over. Devon continued to search around the room, hands shaking when she opened the closet.
"O-oh gods.." She whispered, backing up and covering her mouth. Inside, laying on the tile stained floor was a severed wing, a good amount of blood seeping from where it should've been connected to someone's back. More like /something/. The wing was huge, and black. Feathers lay around it, scattered in small heaps.
18 Jun, 2015, 5:40 pm
[GAH poor Darius..! oAo]
18 Jun, 2015, 6:08 pm
18 Jun, 2015, 6:10 pm
own, sliding the knife out, covered in blood. Devon watched it drip from the kife. Her own blood. She sucked in a breath, staring at it. She felt Trinity's arm ache, like as if the sight of it made it twitch.
18 Jun, 2015, 6:25 pm
Daniel had fallen to the ground, and moaned in pain.
"Hm?" Devon looked at Darius, holding the smoking gun, just holding her gut with a hand, blood pouring from her fingers. She then coughed into my other hand, but pulled back to see blood.
"Look at that.." she mumbled, and sighed, blood drippling from her bottom lip. That wing looked so familiar, though, she didn't know why.
19 Jun, 2015, 2:19 pm

22 Jun, 2015, 5:04 pm
[Im gonna be super embarrased if that's not what you ment. We're like three years older than each other ack, why would you want to y'know hang out with a thirteen year old.]
23 Jun, 2015, 1:59 am
[Well crap I just accidently switched all of the tools on colors from my iPod to Japanese o.o']
23 Jun, 2015, 2:45 pm
[Yeah, I'm totally cool with that. n_n And don't worry, I understood you. *fist bump*]
Devon placed her hand over the wound, and looked down at Daniel, who was staggering backwards inside the closet.
"What.. What was that thing?" Devon asked, looking at Darius, then the stone in his hand.
23 Jun, 2015, 7:54 pm
24 Jun, 2015, 4:04 pm
Devon was confused why he had called her Trinity. It was just her arm.. A-and her face.. I mean, he didn't quite know about her face yet.
"Alright." She said sturdily. "But I don't feel like I should have it. I never exactly knew her that well." She mumbled, tugging at her collar. "I feel like you should keep it. I mean, I'm not her, it's just my arm." Devon said, wiping a smudge of blood from her lip with her sleeve.
09 Jul, 2015, 4:28 pm
[Wow I was gone forever. Sorry, we had to get settled in a hotel room for a week and a few days then I lost internet for a few days ;A; but I'm back now hia]
09 Jul, 2015, 4:30 pm
Devon frowned, but looked defeated. She couldn't argue with this guy.
"Okay.. I'll keep an eye out." She murmered, and began descending downstairs for anything else. I mean, Daniel had a hidden alchemy book in a wall, who knows what else could be here?
19 Jul, 2015, 1:26 am
((Shi.t, I'm on hello oAo' Also, I'll go ahead and look it up. It sounds interesting ouo. Thank gods it wasn't the 20th when I came on .D. But oops, I haven't been online in a while. How are ya dood S(o0o)S))
19 Jul, 2015, 1:29 am
There most definetly was a basement. Full of equipment and tools. Devon continued around the house, and adjusted her scarf nervously. She felt like she should tell Darius that it wasn't only Trinity's arm she had, but half of her face alongside it. Devon felt her heart thump wildly at the thought. But what if it wasn't /only/ her face either...? Could she actually be Trinity without realizing it? She didn't know, nor understand what to do about her current situation anymore.
19 Jul, 2015, 2:34 am
((That's really good to hear XD Most of my friends are feeling really down lately ono
And don't worry.. Trinity will be back *evil laugh*))
19 Jul, 2015, 2:36 am
"Darius." Devon suddenly spoke up, her voice cracking. Her visible eye widened, and she gulped, looking at the ground.
"Did.. Did Trinity have.. Amber eyes?" She said suddenly, looking at the man from across the room. "Like.. fire..?" she sounded hollowed and.. slightly frightened.
19 Jul, 2015, 2:43 am

19 Jul, 2015, 4:12 am
19 Jul, 2015, 4:32 am
19 Jul, 2015, 4:51 am
((I dunno if you saw that comment that accidently sent but I assure you I didn't mean to holy sh.it I'm sorry if you had to see that oAo"))
19 Jul, 2015, 4:58 am
((Okay dude uwu))
19 Jul, 2015, 5:01 am
She looked up at the boy across the room, then looked downcast. She held her hands to her eyesight, blinking and gulping. She brushed the bangs back from her face with her free hand again, looking out the window from the kitchen.
"I apologize for the outburst." She said shortly, pushing herself off from the wall and inhaled in, puffing out her chest, and continuing the search, a bit more awkwardly than before.
19 Jul, 2015, 5:21 am
19 Jul, 2015, 5:43 am
19 Jul, 2015, 6:07 am
((AH I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THAT XD))
I stuck out my tongue at his emotions comment, and sighed, looking down again.
"A BEAM of light? How did she manage to do that?" I asked, and dropped the sword again, picking up the sheath again and sliding the sword inside. She fastened the sword to her belt loop, fumbling with it for a few moments, then scanned the room again, not bothering to watch as her hair fell back in front of her face again.
((I think I'm for sure bringing Trinity back, for her creator I'm actually missing her a bit too ouo))
19 Jul, 2015, 6:46 am
"Maybe there's stuff in there"
((Ooooo I just got a good idea for bringing trinity back heheh but yeah, I'm still going to bed . ,, . Night >w<))
19 Jul, 2015, 2:35 pm
19 Jul, 2015, 4:54 pm
Devon would have to sacrifice herself in order to bring Trinity back
"The first law of alchemy is that nothing can be taken without first giving something else in return."
Even if the two tried to bring her back, they would have to find a part of the original Trinity to have for a base.. Like DNA. And they didn't have any of that... or did they?
19 Jul, 2015, 5:19 pm
((Alrighty uwu))
19 Jul, 2015, 5:24 pm
"Anything that is taken must be restored." Devon said, blinking down at the book. "If we need a body, we'll need to sacrifice one. But we need an original part of Trinity." Devon paused, then looked down at her arm. "And I don't know if I want to chop off my arm for this." She paused, frowning. "There are no body parts here, though.. We need something of Trinity's." Devon was now just muttering under her breath. "Trinity is dead, though.. Shriveled to ashes. The body that is. Was there anything else Trinity had that wasn't human?" Devon asked, setting the book down on a table next to them.
19 Jul, 2015, 5:38 pm
(('Ello n_n))
Devon looked down again, snapping her fingers as if trying to jot a memory.
"A wing..? T-the wing?" she looked upstairs again. "What about that..?"

Somehow.."

19 Jul, 2015, 7:04 pm
19 Jul, 2015, 7:30 pm
((Whoo hoo I was back in less than 30 minutes. Sweet alright hello.))
"Sure." Devon said, shifting out of the closet, and she made her way to Darius.
"W-what do we have to do..?" She asked, holding the wing by the bone at the top.
/If this brings back someone that isn't Trinity I'm going to be pissed./ Devon thought.
19 Jul, 2015, 7:56 pm
19 Jul, 2015, 8:26 pm

20 Jul, 2015, 3:16 am
20 Jul, 2015, 3:16 am
((Sorry I'm here hello .D.))
20 Jul, 2015, 3:38 am
((Yeah I'm here ;u; And you're fine dude ovo))
20 Jul, 2015, 3:54 am
20 Jul, 2015, 4:10 am
((Yeah it's like that but the arms are little t-Rex arms ;u; Holy shit Darius went badass awesome dude oDo)b. Also, Daniel is not dead. Sadly.))
"What..? What happened?" Trinity asked, her face turning into complete concern. "H-he's alright- right?"
20 Jul, 2015, 4:22 am
((I'm not sure if I'm able to get flight rising I'm so sorry TTnTT I don't have my own computer, and my mom and dad don't have one either they have these weird tablet things ono I'm not sure if I can join but I'll still try to see if I can do it from my iPod or not. Gah I feel really bad unu I read up on it a bit and the dragons seem soooooo cool.))
20 Jul, 2015, 4:46 am
((Oh really? Sweet, alright, I'll sign up on the 20th as soon as I can (ouo)b Let's pray it lets it work on my iPod o_o'' sorry I replied really late, in trying to draw while doing this and I get sucked in after a while ono))
"Fuck.. Something bad happened, didn't it..?" She asked, wincing as her aura red sword was handed back into her palm. She examined it, and glanced on the ground for her sheath before sliding it back into the pouch. Trinity followed Darius up the stairs quietly, chewing the inside of her lip nervously.
20 Jul, 2015, 4:57 am
((Oh oh shit I thought Daniel's body disappeared oAo'' I typed that a while ago didn't I?))
20 Jul, 2015, 5:07 am
((Im sorry for the inconvience ack))
20 Jul, 2015, 5:12 am
((Also I wanted to draw Darius in this new art style if I could, I just wanted permission uwu And since I'm having a slight thing for half gas masks right now, can I draw him in that? I mean, Aridus is the one with the gas mask thing but I wanted to test it out on Darius if that was alright XD))
20 Jul, 2015, 5:21 am
((Ah crap okay. I'm gonna stay on web if that's alright uwu))
"Wh-? Sorry?" Trinity placed another handful of glass from the charred ground onto the shelf. "For what..?"
20 Jul, 2015, 5:38 am
"J-journey..?" Trinity asked again, frowning. "What- OH! You mean the giant adventure thing- w-well as much as anyone could remember, I guess. It wasn't like that one time all my memories where wiped, though. I remember them like the average person, I guess.. B-but why do you ask..?" Trinity questioned concerned, and strayed away from the neatening of her room to glance at her friend in worry.
20 Jul, 2015, 5:53 am
"What oH GEEZ!" Trinity was slightly started at the sudden changes, then laughed it off. "That's super cool! What are you a coyote thing or something?" Trinity bent down to meet Darius at his new level. "That's so badass.. Holy fuck." Trinity muttered, grinning.
20 Jul, 2015, 4:05 pm
((Shit I fell asleep in really sorry ;A; It was really late and I just woke up at lunch time I feel so bad. I'm so so sorry.))
"My other form..?" Trinity paused. "O-oh, no, I don't think so.. I mean, I don't even know if I have my wings anymore.. They where.. Taken or something." She said, frowning, but it was still mingled with a half smile.
20 Jul, 2015, 6:00 pm
((Ahhhhh the flight rising accounts are open at 5:30 I'm excited ouo))
"I-I'm not sure." She mumbled a bit awkwardly, scratching the back of her neck, looking down. "I'm kinda scared I'm normal now to be honest.. Like everything was stripped away from me when I.. Left.." She sighed, and sat down, crossing her legs over each other.
"I mean I'm not even supposed to be here."
20 Jul, 2015, 6:33 pm
"Oh?
20 Jul, 2015, 6:34 pm
((Oh in the morning? I thought it was PM. I'll go check again .D.))
20 Jul, 2015, 6:37 pm
((Alright >u<))
20 Jul, 2015, 6:45 pm
"WHOA!" Trinity suddenly looked surprised. "You have a wife and two kids?! Holy crap! Congrats!" She stated, grinning madly. "Wait.." Her voice went quieter. "That means you did the thing.." Her smile slowly turned into a smirk. Excuse Trinitys dirty mind it's just who she is damn it.
20 Jul, 2015, 6:46 pm
((Okay I signed up all I have to do is get into my moms email and get the confirmation code XD))
20 Jul, 2015, 6:46 pm
((Which I have to do when she gets home -_-'))
20 Jul, 2015, 6:52 pm
((I dunno how to make a gmail o_o' Also yeah XD Trinityiscthat one friend who's like that))
20 Jul, 2015, 6:53 pm
"But dude.. Your wife is.. Dead?" Trinity quieted, frowning. "Sorry for your loss." She wasn't exactly the best at making people feel better, but she tried her best.
20 Jul, 2015, 7:04 pm
((What if I already confirmed the email, am I allowed to cancel it somehow? Also thank you for the link uwu it helped a lot))
20 Jul, 2015, 7:07 pm
"O-oh damn. Okay then." Trinity said, blinking. "But Uhm.. What else is up? Besides death and loss and all that sad stuff .3."
20 Jul, 2015, 7:08 pm
Okay uwu
20 Jul, 2015, 7:35 pm
"L-like I said.. It felt like I was sleeping.. Nothing really happened until today." Trinity shrugged. "But once I came here I felt like something was wrong with this world. I don't know why I just feel it in the atmosphere." Trinity shuddered slightly, and looked at the walls of her old, charred room. "I don't know it's just weird. I feel like something giant is about to happen."
20 Jul, 2015, 7:36 pm
((Hia ouo I'm working on a picture thing for Darius and for once il actually happy with how it's coming out XD))
20 Jul, 2015, 7:46 pm
"OH." Trinity's eyes widened, her mouth forming an "o" shape. "Well.. I kinda settled down for a bit. I tried to practice drawing but still, the best I can do is a stick figure." She swear dropped and laughed nervously. "So I kinda gave up on that.. Daniel started a job as a librarian and I kinda hung out at my house for a bit." She said, gesturing around her room. "After we went our separate ways things got reaaaaaaally boring." She added snuffly.
20 Jul, 2015, 8:00 pm
((Same as my one in colors! XD I'm so friggin original I know.))
Trinity looked outside, the sun way making its way down. "Yeah, tomorrow, if we could." She said, and stifled a yawn. "I'm sleepy as fuck.. Who ever knew being called up from some underworld was so tiring."
20 Jul, 2015, 8:15 pm
"Yeah, it's in the living room. You can crash on that." She said, standing up.
((Brb I'm gonna go feed birds some popcorn ouo))
20 Jul, 2015, 8:36 pm
"Dear friend, the battle is about to begin."
She adjusted her scarf, and smiled, her eyes quickly flashing a sense of warmness.
20 Jul, 2015, 9:05 pm
((Holy shot okay so I'm in flight riding now.. There are dragon gods that sounds badass. Any particular one you want me to pick? Or can I choose which one I want?))
20 Jul, 2015, 9:05 pm
^^shit
20 Jul, 2015, 9:08 pm

20 Jul, 2015, 9:09 pm
((Geez I can't spell today))
20 Jul, 2015, 9:15 pm
Trinity had snorted in her sleep then coughed into her pillow, the sudden loss of breath caused her to wake up in bed. She sat up, her black trenchcoat draped over the bedpost, and she hacked into her arm. After a few more seconds, Trinity sat up, stretching her arms behind her back and yawned.
20 Jul, 2015, 9:36 pm
((I JUST MISCLICKED AND DENIED YOUR FRIEND REQUEST GAH SORRY))
20 Jul, 2015, 10:10 pm
20 Jul, 2015, 10:30 pm
((AGH I feel like such a weeb because everyone has these really cool descriptions and I just got this badass dragon trade thing from you and I'm just aGH))
"Oh, cool! Uh-" her voice faltered. "I'll make breakfast if you want- I'll be down in a second!" Trinity undid her hair from the bun it was in leaving it slightly wavier than usual. She got out of bed, still running the back of her neck and started padding downstairs in teal pajama pants and a grey tank top yawning at her sleepiness.
20 Jul, 2015, 10:50 pm
((What do I do with your message on FR oh my gods I am so lost *nervous eye twitch and smiles at ceiling like an idiot* Gods help me))
"You're the guest, I should be doing the work, not you." Trinity laughed, and grinned, making her way into the slightly charred kitchen. "Let's just hope I don't start a fire.. Mother one of those is one of the last things we need." She mumbled, dropping her hand from her neck and leaning against the counter. "What are you up to eating, dude?" She asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
20 Jul, 2015, 10:55 pm
((I don't talk to Megan much as I used to, I wish I could. But I dunno if I should try and add her I'm kinda nervous she'll ask who I am and I still don't know any of the controls yet oAo''))
20 Jul, 2015, 11:07 pm
((Okay uwu))
20 Jul, 2015, 11:23 pm
/Waffles it is../ Trinity thought, and pushed herself from the counter and started scanning the fridge for the batter.
"Ghost town..? I remember /something/ about that- oh, here it is." Trinity stood back straight again with the waffle mix and opened the package, kicking the fridge closed with her foot. "What'd we do there?" She asked, grinning at Darius from over her shoulder.
20 Jul, 2015, 11:23 pm
((Why are you sending me so many dregans oDo))
20 Jul, 2015, 11:35 pm
"Oh." Trinitys face went pale. She nearly forgot that she had bad motion sickness. "That would've been pleasent to forget.. Gods, that ride was terrible." She murmered, putting a hand up to her face and giving a small smile to herself. She poured the batter into the waffle pan and closed it, flipping the "on" switch. She laughed, taking her hands through her slightly tangled hair and put the batter back.
"I just hope I never have to ride in a car again.. O-or anything moving that is." She gulped.
20 Jul, 2015, 11:49 pm
"You mean the pink haired Titan flower chick?" She asked, and hopped on the counter, swinging her legs over it. "I think so- geez didn't she grow to like a zillion feet or something?" Trinity asked, and laughed.
21 Jul, 2015, 1:37 am
"G-gah! I-I didn't mean that, and you know it!" She stated, her eyebrows shooting upward so. "It isn't funny you jerk, I thought I killed you!" She punched his shoulder lightly, even though a ghost of a smile was hinting on her lips.
21 Jul, 2015, 1:37 am
((My parents where making me do chores sorry ack ;n;))
21 Jul, 2015, 1:55 am
21 Jul, 2015, 1:57 am
((I gotta go really fast brb))
21 Jul, 2015, 3:16 am
((Yooooo dood \o3o/))
"The-" Trinity placed a hand under her blackened eye, on her cheekbone, and smiled. "Yeah, we did, didn't we." She opened the waffle maker and slid out two waffles, serving them each to a clean plate she grabbed from the sink.
"You want anything on your waffle? Maybe maple syrup?" She asked.
((Canada eh -w-))
21 Jul, 2015, 3:33 am
((Ello ouo speaking of accents I heard that if you move somewhere you might obtain the accent of the area now I'm scared im going to come out of nc with a southern accent o_o))
21 Jul, 2015, 3:54 am
((I think I'm going to leave for now since I'm starting to fall asleep again ono' Goodnight, Mitchell. Not sure what time it is up there but whatever it is- er- whenever it is, have a nice sleep uwu *huggles and then facebeds*))
Trinity handed him the syrup bottle from the top shelf, and yawned again, covering her mouth with the back of her hand, and rubbed her eyes from sleep. "When you're done can you hand me the bottle?" She asked sluggishly.
21 Jul, 2015, 3:32 pm
21 Jul, 2015, 3:32 pm
((Morning X3))
21 Jul, 2015, 5:02 pm
"Aridus..?" Trinity asked, then shoved a fork full of waffle syrup into her mouth.
"Oh, coffee dude! Yeah, I think we talked once or twice." She grinned, her cheeks puffed out with waffle. She swallowed before she spoke again. "Have you seen him lately?"
21 Jul, 2015, 5:03 pm
(("Coffee dude" XD I had to.))
21 Jul, 2015, 6:48 pm
((I really wanna send you a dreagen now but I have no cool ones ;A; *quietly cries* Aridus is the human slightly asshole-her Alphonse it's been confirmed XD))
"Really?" She asked with her mouth full, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. "That's gotta be fun." She added sarcastically, grinning.
21 Jul, 2015, 7:22 pm
((Asshole-ier damn autocorrect -_-'))
Trinity sighed out, running her fingers through her hair when she ate the last of her breakfast.
"I forgot how much fun it was hanging around you, dude." She punched his shoulder again, and laughed. "So, we head out to find Daniel again?" Trinity asked, and dumped her waffle plate into the sink for cleaning later. What a procrastinator.
21 Jul, 2015, 8:14 pm
"After you saying that he nearly tried to "kill" you.. I certainly have no idea." Trinity shook her head numbly. "I mean, the last time /I/ saw him was the library. So I decide we try to go there, perhaps?" She suggested, tilting her head.
21 Jul, 2015, 8:41 pm
((And you said Trinity was the pervy friend XD Darius took a turn for the worst ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ((I just found this text face and it's terrifying XDD))
"Oh.. Uh-" Trinity stopped, tapping her cheek in thought. "I think it was actually just in the town nearby.. Where it's located I have no clue." She shrugged.
21 Jul, 2015, 8:57 pm
((Oh alright uwu))
