What?! Oh my God, that sucks...
That happend to me a few months ago...my DS broke, well snapped in half, and I sent it in for repairing, bought a new one, but then my old 3DS returned, fixed, so I had two 3DS's, and then the New 3DS XL came out a month later, so I sold my old one, and a lot of games I didn't play for Xbox, Wii and Wii U, and made enough money for the New 3DS XL, which I have now. I plan to sell my other XL which is just a normal one.
You should try to get the New one if you can!
