Cheers Micky, I've not been back to the 3Ds painting yet, the painting ive been doin on it has been a struggle and I went back to my old faithful I phone, the take back has also stopped working for some reason which has held me up cos I make a lot of errors lol, painted this one on the I pad, first I've done on it, colors app works well on it, although it tends to lock up a few times, i really enjoyed painting this on it , its a good job I didn't start this painting on the 3Ds, Betelgeuse would have gone supernova by the time I'd finished it ha ha, :)

Hi Gaz, I tried using colors on the iPad but it always freezes, really wish they would bring a dedicated version out for it, for now I'm happy with the 3ds because for one I cant work magic like you can with iPhone :D keep meaning to ask what stylus do you use ? :)

Gaz bell

Hi Micky , yeah it's a bit annoying lol, works ok again as soon as u press the home button and go back to your picture tho so not to bad, ha ha your telling porkys, you can work magic alright, league of legends was done on I phone, although I can see the I phone ristricting you a bit as in my opinion it is limited compared to the ds. personally Part of the satisfaction for me is the novelty of it being painted on a phone and what I can achieve with it :)
90% of my paints are done with just my fingers Micky, I still have the pogo sketch stylus and a pen I got with a deal on I pad stuff from a phone shop, the later is more like a slim marker pen, chunky and heavy , AluPen (just mobile Ltd), I use both but only use occasionally , this painting and falls n ferns were painted just using fingers :)

Gaz that's even more amazing I dont know why but I always thought you used a stylus :)... and your right I keep trying to say to people that its not just what you draw its the fact its done on a DS or iPhone which still amazes me what can be achieved and in my opinion you've just gone from Deity to a full blown God of art :D

I can't believe you get such detail using your fingers! I've been using a Bamboo stylus but boy do the tips wear out fast. And it's really cool to see such great detailed drawings done on the Ipad and Iphone since we don't get all the options that the DS has and the fact that it freezes and so easy to move to resize the pic or move it without meaning to.

Thanx alebaroli, yeah you can see all my experiments and swapping of ideas during my replays, everything I've painted so far has been from imagination with no reference , I love the freedom this gives me to let my mind wander mid painting , I never know what im going to end up with myself , I find this style of painting exciting :)

Hi Micky, ha ha don't know about God of art, more man with tiny fingers lol, yeah I love it when I show people a painting on my phone and they just don't believe me that it was painted on it :)

Ilox, thanx for all the nice comments on my paints, I get the detail by working mainly on full zoom, I love painting on the I phone, was a touch easier with the bigger screen of the I pad but as you rightly stated it tends to freeze a few times, although it wasn't that often that it drove me mad, more of a niggle really :)

wow i like all of your paintings. you're really creative and you're really good at putting in the details. I suck at that. I love landscapes and the sky, but I have never done any and don't even know how to start.

Thankyou Mai_yx, i found watching lots of replays helped me a lot when I first started painting on colors, there r some great landscape paintings by some brilliant artists on here, munin amongst many others has done some awesome landscapes and his playbacks r short so he's a good one to view, also as always lots and lots of practice will get you there, thx again for your kind comments :))

Amazing! I couldn't imagine doing the whole thing with a finger.

Thx Aaron, I started painting on the I phone before I got a stylus so I guess I just got used to painting without one, luckily I havnt got hands like shovels with big sausage fingers so I get away with it on the small screen, I do use stylus sometimes , but they r quite chunky on I phone anyway so not that much difference for me, thx for the comments much appreciated :)

Amazing, and very beautiful. I can only hope that oneday I can paint a landscape as great as this since one.I love to write all sorts of stories and I would love oneday to be a published author able to depict both in paint and sketches the world that I love to write about.
