I have a character named Shi...

So, it is the gaurdian made by Shi to protect his void. He can change his size and colors to accomodate the situation.
He is the gaurdian.. and Scythe.

He opens the portal to the void.
He protects it with his(or her? ewe) life.

Sea Spray

Moti [Hindi for Pearl] was born from an oyster. She grew from sand and seaweed over time, much like how a clam produces pearls.
Moti was well adapted to swimming and hunted small dogfish and otters. She grew up alone and lost trust for others- thus giving her anxiety and agoraphobia [fear of crowds]. Moti lives in a small cave near the Great Barrier Reef, but away from the tourist attraction.

I really like Sea Spray and i hope to obtain it!

These adopts remind me a lot of fauna you'd fight in Monster Hunter, especially Sunset, Sea Spray, and Dune. Very creative! How about I try my luck at Dune then?
Dune belongs to a spechies that inhabits arid badlands, often living in large groups to bring down larger prey. They are however often seen as mangy and cowardly scavengers that only gang up on weakened or wounded prey only if the odds are highly on their favor, thus travellers see them as pests and cowardly vermin. Xe (not sure offically if female or male) spent most of xer life being at the bottom of the pecking-order of xer hunting band. Xe made up for a lack of higher strength or agility with xer higher then usual cunning, solving puzzling situations better then xer peers. On one hot day of the dry-season, a trading caravan ran afoul of xer hunting-band and the incident resulted in the deaths of many of the creatures. Thus this power-vaccum allowed Dune to raise up in the hiearchy and is now currently one of the
alphas

(Continued): Dune personally perfers the taste of brush-hog over other local fauna, though like others of xer species xe is not too picky on choice of prey. Xe still carries some bad memories from a bad rip-scorpion sting xe recieved as a hatchling, thus xe has a strong hatred of the tiny red creatures. Due to living so long as a sub-omega, xe still often has some anxiety around others of the hunting-band, remembering the constant bullying of the past from stronger pack-members. For this reason xe still perfers to lurk off alone where xe feels safer, even though xe is one of the current alphas. Dune's craftiness may be a result of both genetic inheritence and also compinsation for xer lack of strength. As of currently, xer offspring show some sign's of xer own cunning, though not as much as Dune xerself. Xe regards humans as a strange curiosity and stays far from them anytime they pass through the hunting-band's territory.

(More Continued): Dune's spechies are not as wide-spred as other creatures of their world of Shard, often only living in arid clinates along the equator. Xer spechies are not generally intelligent to say the least, being no less clever then typical junkyard mongrels. Some cultures of Shard see them as bad omens and some tribes fear that having your body being devoured by one would result in the person's ghost being barred from the afterlife and forced to haunt the badlands as a wraith. Thus they are often refered by these tribes as Shi'Kusii which means "maker of wraiths", while others simply call them Sand-Scramps. They biologically can digest almost any organic material, and their stomach acids are so potent that it can reduce even bone to dust. They have exelent vision and senses of smell, though their hearing is not as keen as other creatures. They often will scan the horizon for potential threats or prey by standing upon one foot to reduce exposure to the hot sands and rock
